So my vacation is over now.

It was wonderful - really relaxing, just a lot of taking walks, reading, writing a bit, enjoying the wonderful scenery and air of the North Sea ... Surprisingly my parents and me did not go on each other's nerves, as well ^_^ . Leaving was hard and going back to work was, too. But at least my batteries are recharged now to go on for a while!

The last three days actually were less relaxing and rather full of work, but in a fun way :chuckle: . It so happened that an archer was on the island last week and gave archery lessons - and he also offered a course for building a bow. So I went shooting on Monday and it was so much fun that I decided I wanted to give it a try to build my own bow. And what can I say - I did it! Though I would never have finished if Walter (the archer) hadn't helped me so much ... Even so it was Friday night at 11 pm that we finished (we were leaving on Saturday morning at half past 8 ...).

It is an English longbow!

Now I only need to oil it and the arrows a few more times and "teach it to shoot". So far I can draw it up to my left shoulder, so I need to work it a bit more until I can really shoot it with the full draw (to the right cheek).

Mon ordi est sous l'attaque d'un virus donc je squatte rapidement l'ordi de Ines.

Mon cours du vendredi est une classe de petits geeks et j'adore.

Le prof a louait la France parce que on peut avoir des connexions broadband a 100Gig quand au Canada, pour des raisons d'infrastructure et de sous, ils sont a 20Gig max et c'est super cher.

J'ai recu un sac et deux bouquins today, plus I discovered a booksales where if you managed to fill one bag, it was only 5$. So I have 13 books for 5$ :D
Some harlequins, some serious stuff, I also found a copy of The Hours and Good Omens. Niiice.

Tomorrow we are off sailing and on Sunday I dunno what I'll do.
On Monday I take my computer with me at school so Luke (who is in my Friday and Monday classes and work in the IT dept at Irvings) can check it out and see what he can do. So no computer for me this weekend. Thanksfully I can check my school mail on Ines computer.

I need to go back and finish the kitchen. I don't want to. I need to fold clothes. Again. Ugh.

I need to get off this computer and go to bed. I was up WAY too late last night, reading great books, but still. No excuse.

Tout à l'heure, devant la glace, j'ai realisé que j'avais perdu du gras.
C'est pas trés visible avec mes fringues, mais en sortant de la douche, ça se voit un peu, pour qui connait mon corps (ok, je me sens trés seule sur ce coup).
En tout cas, ça fait plaisir de se voir plus incurvée au dessus des hanches.

Ce soir, aprés avoir passée deux heures à regarder des clips des Goo Goo Dolls, nous avons suivis Jeff au O'Leary's pour une pinte de biére et de la musique live.
C'était sympa. On a eu droit à des covers de Brian Adams et de Johnny Cash.

Il faut que je recupére le dvd de Ines, j'ai envie de faire des icones et des banners de Johnny Reznik nao.
