AboutEvery Monday, one of the mods posts four prompts. In the following week, you can write something for all of them. You can write something for three of them, or two of them, or one of them. You can write something for none of them. You can do the same one twice. It's pretty lax here.
If you've got an idea for a prompt, comment on the most recent prompts post, and we'll include it in next week's post.
You can write fanfiction, original fiction, poetry, memoir. It can be below one hundred words, it can be exactly one hundred words, it can be short-story length, or a novel, or a poetic epic. You can write haikus, if you want. I'm pretty sure most of the people have no issue with girl-on-girl action, boy-on-boy action, or cursing, but if you're afraid that someone might be offended, just throw it behind a cut and slap on a warning.
Basically, you just write. Anything and everything. (Of course, what you write should probably have something to do with the prompts. Well, if you begin with the prompt, but then the story carries you away and you end up about writing something completely different, that's fine, but don't just post something completely unrelated.)
