STOP MAKING ME DISLIKE PLATINUM PAIR. >( It's not their fault they're so popular! *pouts* I'm tired of fic exchanges and all the amazing authors only writing freakin' Niou/Yagyuu/Niou with some other Rikkai once in a while to change it up! SICK OF IT. I want some more amazing fic with other characters. Why aren't there more of those, huh? Why does it ALWAYS have to be Niou and Yagyuu!?! I like them, but not to the point where I want great fic for them exclusively. There are TONS of other pairings with potential!

Why aren't there any great fics with Gakuto, huh? Higa? Inui? Fudomine? Momo? Some non-mainstream pairing?

Please, someone, tell me I'm not alone in this. And don't get me wrong, there IS great fic out there without Platinum, without Rikkai, but they are few and far between. If anyone would like, I'll point you to my favorite non-Rikkai fic, and if you could point me to yours? (I'm also sick of silver pair. Just... nothing that has to do with some sort of color. Unless it's emerald pair.)

I'm just dying for some amazing Gakuto or Shishido or Chinen or heck, even Ryoma fic.

As a random side note, I've fallen in love with the idea of Vampire!Shishido and his pet Gakuto. <3

That aside, I wonder why folks back home don't have a habit of using parasols, considering our weather is pretty much summer all year round. I never used to carry one around either, but it's so commonplace in Japan that I wouldn't dream of leaving my place in the morning without it, because come noon, the sun will be hot enough to make you shrivel up and die. Maybe it's because Singapore has got lots of trees and sheltered walkways? Perhaps our sun isn't as strong?

People give me a funny look when I tell them I'll go exploring ... once summer is over. LOL. I don't think anyone will believe I hail from sunny Singapore. I can't even take spicy food! xD

But oh, Japan has such pretty parasols! I got this from Daiso for less than 600円! Love the lace trimmings. I'm now lusting after a white one.

...finished watching Bokurano yesterday. I've been meaning to watch it since last year after I heard Ishikawa Chiaki sing the opening Uninstall at AX. I really love that song. It's one of the first I downloaded into my Band Brothers DX game. So far I've only filled 10 slots out of 100 for that. I hope more people come out with songs I like...

Yagyuu Estate, just right outside Rikkaidai City

A tray laid with breakfast, coffee, the daily newspaper and a flower with a vase was carried to a wide bedroom by a brown-haired man with glasses. Upon entry, he found the bed empty and showing signs that the owner of the said bed had not slept in it at all, he frowned and sighed. He turned around, went back to the kitchen to find a container to place the breakfast in, and grabbed the key for the shiny, black BMW that was parked in the garage of the mansion along with the rest of the other expensive cars that were not really being used much. Then he drove to the port with a paper bag containing the said breakfast and newspaper.

Container no. 28, Rikkaidai City Port

The man or butler who was known as Tezuka Kunimitsu stepped out the car and carried along with him the paper bag on one arm and took the keys from his pocket and unlocked the door of the container with the other. He entered it and closed the door behind him then pressed a side of the container wall revealing a small security pad with numbers and typed the password quickly. As soon as he pressed enter, the floor began to lower itself down to a secret basement underneath the port.

The basement was huge. It could fit at least four master bedrooms in it, it was a bit bare though with its white walls but it was bright at least. There was an armoured car parked in one side though the car looked nothing like the kind of armoured cars that banks used. It was more like an extremely high-tech car that was placed with armor and weaponry, and it was black and shiny. There was also a bunch of the latest computers in the other side of the room as well. There a man was sitting in front of the monitors who appeared to be trying to stitch the wound on the side of his left arm.

Taking something of a trip back to the nineties. :)

Wanted to try something different this time around. I post up music reccomendations here because I love sharing what I listen to, but it's occured to me that a lot of the stuff I share are by artists in the States or somewhere else but my country. The only other time I actually shared something from this little snatch of earth I call home was when I posted up Imago's "Idlip" months ago on my birthday.

I don't know any other song by Moonstar88, I guess I fail that way. But this is actually one of my favorite songs from back in junior/senior year in high school, even if I only really learned to sing it and wholly understand the lyrics sometime in college when Kam slpwlkngdreamer, Kai noble_scarlet and a bunch of other friends of mine really brought in OPM to my playlist.

Payday has cometh! I finally have cash in the bank again. I can breathe easy about withdrawing money without the fear of zeroing out.

Coordinating with the girls for Sunday's girls-day-out: Rika redmoonmurder will be dropping over my house an hour earlier than either of us initially intended. We want to be at the Shang smack dab at 10am. Bonus points if we get there early. We're taking no chances with the tickets. ;p

I'm willing to bet big bucks that the Starbucks will be open anyway, so s'all cool.

Have confirmed with Angel lock_n_pop as well. She said she'd be there at 10am as well, so much squeeage for that. Will get to see her again (FINALLY), after months and months of not doing so.

I foresee much glompage both from myself and Rikarika, and if Kang jpop_princess (;; com plz?) goes along for the ride, then there's a high likelihood of a cuddlepile. XD I also finally get to introduce Kam slpwlkngdreamer to her, because it seems previous efforts have failed impressively.

As for bes', she's already told her mom about getting dropped off early. Her family usually hangs out at her grandparents' condo on Sundays, so the Shang is actually really closeby.

Am excited already. *dances a little*



I got to talk to Manda shini02 today. She was online until about 9am, my time. I asked her to fill me in on everything that's happened on her end of the world and I babbled a little about how proud I was that I'd managed to write a couple of things.

I was cleaning up/sorting out my lj-tags while I was talking to her and we laughed a little at how oO; it kind of renders you. I'm not even half-done with sorting everything, but I'm taking a break from it because I feel just a little cross-eyed right now.



Got to see Hope coffeebased and Cheska yumetakamiya yesterday. To Hope, I say one thing - SLEEP. ;; *hughug?* I honestly do not know how you do it. I miss you? ♥

I just got back from my first Hanabi Taikai at Kita Senju with C and SM! ♥ I filmed lots of video clips of those fireworks but I'm only uploading the two that look the best. Our view wasn't too good -- we were blocked by the bridge, but we did get lots of room and the field was so cool and windy we didn't even need any fans! It was so relaxing I didn't want to move, but we had to leave before the grand finale as we didn't wanna get caught in the human jam afterwards. I think the one at Asakusa this Saturday's gonna be mayhem.

I decided to raid raptureicons.

Got rid of some of the icons I really don't use. It just didn't make sense for me to fill up all the slots Manda shini02 got for me when she bought me paid time. So yes, I have resolved to use what iconspace I've been given, wisely. Out with the old, in wth the new. ;p

Things are relatively slow today, so I decided to really start my revise-and-migrate campaign for all the fics I posted here. Updated thisbe_wd with a whole bunch of them today and hopefully I can churn out something relatively new before the day is out, because really, rehashing old fic is nicely productive, but nothing like the high of writing something from scratch.

Strange concept as it might be, I actually feel like I'm relatively intelligent when I manage to type coherent fiction. Doesn't matter if it's 150 words or 1,000; just managing to churn something out makes me feel like I can still tell stories -- even if they're more fanfic than original fiction. I've been struggling with another block. It's not pleasant at all.

It's an achievement though, to write funny-fic that doesn't necessarily involve Catydid. As much as I love that particular muse I need funny without the caramel-induced high. So yes: The Breakfast Table Challenge, version 2.0.

Speaking of which: I miss Sammu alluriel. :(

The revisions on those four pieces made me remember that she's not in the country right now. *sniff* Not entirely sure when she'll be back, and I'd text her if I could; only, she'd probably kill me since roaming charges are much higher than your average text. I shall write more Yumi-is-the-spawn-of-Satan fic instead.



Was chatting with the other Noelle xandrei (XD, *chu*bebe). Flailed a little after finding out that if ever she comes here, the place she'll be staying at is so damn close to my house. ♥

I really hope it (the trip) happens because it would be amazing to finally meet her in person, which is one of those things on my "Must-Do-Before-I-Expire-From-Earth" list. I'm already thinking in "when-not-if"-mode, because thinking of her coming here in terms of "when" as opposed to "if" makes the reality of it just a bit more concrete. She said there's a high possibility of it happening though, and I just tell myself if not sooner, then later.



Also caught Amanda shini02 on chat this morning. I haven't spoken to her in days, which is always strange to me since I'm used to babbling to her about a lot of silly things.

I think I worry a lot more now because she finally took that trip to the doctor just to see what was causing her anxiety attacks. She told me a little about how things went and I'm just looking forward to catching her tomorrow to get the rest of the story.



Oh and one more thing: Aggy a_lighter_side, Bhex dreamlessness. Thy wishes (wish? You guys want the same thing anyway, hehe) have been granted.

As many of you may or may not know, the past two weeks have been spent packing and getting ready to move in with my mom (hopefully sometime between this week and the next). My room is buried in dust, and I still have to box all sorts of trinkets, take down the posters/wallscrolls, and figure out just what I'm going to do with over twenty stuffed animals that can't come with me.

DID YOU KNOW IT'S REALLY HARD TO MOVE WHEN YOU'VE LIVED IN THE SAME PLACE FOR 23 YEARS? sob
