I've made a decision that may or may not impact those of you that belong to ts community. After several years of being in business, drabble_redux is closing it's doors. Well, that's not exactly true. It'll be like a big empty building with plenty of usefulness for someone with vision. If you think you have the vision to carry this community forward, I would love to hand over the reigns. Maybe you want to sneak in and write on the walls now and then... that's okay, too. As long as possible, I'm going to keep this community open so that you can post here and grab ideas from the weekly challenges. Feel free to peruse the history! There just won't be any coffee percolating in the office and the creamer might go bad in the fridge.

*bows out* It's been a pleasure. I'm just sorry I couldn't give this community the time it deserves.

First things first... I've redone the information page. No teams and varying prompts each week. That's about it. If you have anything you'd like to add, let me know!

I'm also going through the tags (because that is what I do) and making sure that everything is tagged well. It helps with the archiving process!

Feel free to make each week's prompt work for any other prompt community you're writing for. Sometimes it's fun to try to make a drabble fit more than one prompt. I'm all for multi-community posting! Besides, this community is all about writing. The more you do of it, the better we feel about what we're doing!

It is your long-lost Mod who has finally found her way back to this part of the Internet. Bet you thought you lost me for good, didn't you? I have a tendency to cycle back to the things I love... and here I am!

There are still a lot of people that are listed as members of this community but I wonder how many of you there actually are so I thought I'd ask a couple of questions and see if anyone answered me.

Question Number 1:
Are you still drabbling? Or maybe you've started working on something longer. Would you like this community to move from being 100-500 words to something larger?

Question Number 2:
If you're still drabbling, what are you drabbling about? Any movies or TV shows that I haven't listed on the Info Page that you'd like to see there? Is there another community that you drabble/write for that you think we should partner up with?

Question Number 3:
Would you like the challenges to change? We started out doing them this particular way because it was different than in other communities we'd been to. There are several ideas I've been playing around with in my head lately that I thought we could give a try here. Are you up for it? Or would you like to keep it at the status quo?
