I apologize if this has already been discussed, or if I'm the only person who has confusion over this line and everyone else in the world got it. But I've always been confused about this exchange.

Horrible: Didn't you go on a date last night? Conflict Diamond told me you were doubling with Bait and Switch.
Moist: Yeah.
Horrible: Yeah?
Moist: It was all right. I kinda thought I was supposed to end up with Bait, but...
Horrible: I hear ya.


The first time I watched it, my impression was this: "Bait and Switch" is a male friend of theirs. And the two of them went on a double date with two other girls. But Moist was so lukewarm about the date because he was more interested in the male friend than in the girl. Obviously he didn't end up with "Bait" because Bait went home with the girl.

That was my understanding, anyway. And Moist being gay was just further cemented to me when he was in that Pink Pummeler's bedroom.

Now I'm getting the feeling from other people that the general impression is that "Bait" and "Switch" are two separate females and he was somehow dating them both? Or he was with Switch and some other guy was with Bait and they were double dating but he wanted the other girl. Is that what you guys thought? Am I way off base here?

...a while back I'm pretty sure I saw someone from a high school doing a stage-adaptation of Dr. Horrible for charity? Or something to that effect. (Or maybe it was Once More With Feeling?)
