The roleplay is based off of the Re-Imagining of Battlestar Galactica, a story of a rag-tag Fleet consisting of the remnants of Humanity running from their former slaves, the Cylons, who after a bloody struggle forty years ago and their requisite disappearance, have returned and conducted mass-genocide on their homeworlds. Yep. If you've seen the show (the brilliant, brilliant show), you already know this. And if you already know this, we want you to join. Simple.

It's a permissive type roleplay with Canon characters and original characters allowed. Canon characters can be played by anyone at anytime (unless claimed by other members). There are two very lively admins, polls and opinions, news updates, and discussion threads. Plus, there are reviews of every new episode of the show as dictated by the Administrators. Hmm. Exciting, eh?

haha, hey, I just had this sudden urge to go looking for BSG communities here on lj since we won't be getting to see any new episodes til 2008 and I thought I might DIE if I didn't get any Giaus input. Anyways I found a few that I liked and joined them, but this is my first introduction and might be my only one until I decide that the rest of them are worth staying with. I love Gaius and so I can tell that I will love this comm. Now for my tiny request... does anyone have a video or voice clip of Gaius where he reverted to his "real" accent on the show while he was in jail??? I SWEAR that has to be one of the hottest things I have ever heard and I desperatly need it.

I don't know that I will be writing any fanfic for quite a while. Gaius is a difficult character for me to get into, but I will deffinatly try!

But I've recently started a small fic journal, and thought I would post this fic from a few months ago, since it features Gaius/Gaeta slash and I thought there might be some interest in it from this community. It is told from Gaeta's perspective, but there's quite a lot of Gaius in it. I hope you all know that James Callis will be one of the guests at DragonCon this year. It's coming up fast.

Now the reason I'm posting is that the American SciFi Track wants to host a Colonial Day party. They did a hug Firefly bash last year and it went over really well. Thing is, the powers that be at Dragoncon are reluctant to give them one of the big ballrooms for it this year because they don't think there's enough interest.

With the con soming up soon, we'd like to ask you to email programming at dragoncon dot org and let them know you are interested and that you would attend such a thing. Be polite but we want them to know that the fans are out here.
