AboutWelcome to the fan community for the medical anime/manga series Black Jack, which revolves around a rogue, unlicensed surgeon with miraculous abilities, rumored to be the best of the best. He charges astronomical fees, but he also has a heart of gold and does a lot of pro-bono work for those that he decides deserve it. While mature in ratings and no doubt incredibly accurate medical information, there's a definite fantasy streak that makes the series enjoyable for many. The dubbed OVA series is licensed by Central Park Media, and the movie is available from Manga Entertainment. |
