djpsyche	1:41p	werk Today I seem to have completely 95% of my work. Before lunch. Sneaking out to the bank will take up a bit of time later, but otherwise I'll be glued to the Internet -- minus LiveJournal of course -- for the next several hours. Speaking of werk, it seems that for the second time in my career another woman's pregnancy may be an unexpected boon for me. The senior finance officer -- the one who does the job I'll be qualified to do once I complete my AAT qualification -- is up the spout, leaving around Christmastime. Now I won't be done with my course until June, but perhaps I can talk them into letting me start early and cover at least some of her workload while she's away. This could potentially solve the problem of long afternoons with nothing to do, as well as give me some practical experience for the jobs I'm going to be applying for once I have MAAT after my name. Yay for breeding (as long as it isn't me)! (Comment on this)

These things are all homemade from a shop in York and, after eating two extremely tasty and rather filling slices, I have absolutely NFI what to do with them. synthclarion	11:05p	Birthday As I'm sure is the first thing on everyone's mind right now, it's my birthday tomorrow. Well, in 55 minutes, to be precise. No guilt trip for anyone who might be in the vicinity - it's late notice and you all have your own lives - but I'll be in York on my own in the evening and it'd be nice to have some company if anyone's at a loose end.
