Guxt v0.8.1.0

Pixel has released a new version of Guxt. The most obvious change is that the game is no longer monochrome - enemy shots are a highly visible red. I'm told some changes were made to the game balance as well.

More differences:

- meteor carrying enemies now only give 10 points instead of 20
- Bonus item is orange color
- Twin shot midway in second stage (?)
- Anchor now gives points if collected quickly (?)
- Speed powerups now can either drop you a level or raise you up to double booster rockets. No idea how this works.
- W.M.Gun now has a name.

I'm not sure about that on the meteor enemies. It seems to me that they give 20 points if you destroy them while they're still carrying a meteor, whereas they give 10 if you break up the meteor first.

The speed system loops back. When you're at level 5 and get a speed powerup, it returns you to level 2.
Just in case you got too many speeds and go uncomfortably fast.

It appears you can now make the screen larger (up to 5x, instead of the original x3).

Anyone know what the little floating Ika-chan does/is/means?

I saw it floating by in the first level, I didn't get a chance to shoot it.

Yeah, 200 points, and you get it by grabbing BOTH gun power-ups in the first level.

got up to level five and I was doing fine (only died once so far) and then I died, and then lost all my other lives because my ship was too slow when it respawned :(

apparently it seems you get a 1-up every 2000 points.
