The first week of excavations has been hell: my boss apparently despises me, says I live in a world of mine, don't work and don't care about others - well, he talked in general, but I know I was in the group of people he's not happy with.
I'm exhausted, I've worked hard and harder than the previous excavations, but apparently it hasn't been enough... there's always something I do wrong and moreover he gets angry with me for things I haven't done!
For example, he told me to put away a case with tools on tuesday evening: I did it. Next morning there were pincers out of the case and he said it was my fault! I wasn't the one who closed the room where we keep the tools, I wasn't the one to leave out the pincers, why does he have to get angry with me??
Then thursday evening I argued for the first time with my friend B. and I felt horrible and humiliated.
I really hope next week will be better, 'cause I don't know if I can resist other five weeks like this!

On the bright side, yesterday night I went to see "Batman: The Dark Knight" with some friends and it was AMAZING; Heath Ledger was fantastic as The Joker (he hypnotized me and made my head spin) and Aaron Eckhart is great too. I must say, all the actors were awesome- I adored Gary Oldman, Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine too; I liked Maggy Gillenhaal as Rachel (I hated the character in Batman Begins 'cause I hate Katie Holmes with her strange smile) and I've almost squealed when Cillian Murphy appeared as The Scarecrow - I so love his eyes!
I was very sad during the movie, thinking it's practically the last movie Heath Ledger starred in...
"What does not kill you, makes you stranger!"
"You see, nobody panics when things go according to plan. Even if the plan is horrifying. If I told people that a gangbanger was going to get shot, or a busload of soldiers was going to get blown up, nobody would panic. Because it's all part of the plan. But tell people that one tiny little mayor is going to die and everyone loses their minds!"

So I'm thinking of getting a new email account, separate for RP journal things. 8D Does anyone know of any good services? If there's nothing new and interesting I'll probably just set up another Hotmail. |D;

PATLABOR IS FRIKKING AMAZING!!11!! e8a';sd OTA I LOVE YOUUUU!!!
Noa is cute like whoa &hearts
I love every characters from this series, they are well-developed and makes me laugh so hard with the antics and the chaotic mess ;w;. This is a really good show with awesome mecha actions as a bonus content. I used to be a big fan of the dub when it was still aired on Indosiar several years ago but I never get a chance to purchase the original VCDs until two days ago... It guess it was quite a big spend of mine, but I don't regret it, AT ALL. I hope I can find the movie and two of the OVAs somewhere because I definitely need OAR patlabor supply.
Also, Ingram is so cool and elegant! I hope someone out there selling any Ingram model.
Well, next after this, I'll re-watch Voltus. Or maybe re-playing Suikoden 5 because of the sudden desire to molest the prince ;w;

I'm sure no one else other than
yasuyoshi will care that much, but tonight I was going to see the play version of Fahrenheit 451 and guess who was there and signed my program?
If you guessed Ray Bradbury, you are correct. I was seriously floored to see him there. I'm pretty sure I made a bumbling idiot of myself, but to meet such a prolific author in real life? It was amazing. It really was. He even gave a little speech before the play started about his work adapting the book into a play. It was at this small, local theater, so I was really surprised to see him there. Pleasantly surprised.
And now, I discovered someone uploaded Mad Love, a Batman graphic novel that I've been looking for forever. About how Joker won over Harley Quinn. Fuck yes. Dorkdom all around tonight.

Several things.
Happy birthday,
rangerofillian.
Secondly, I has a new phone.

Same number as always. 916-799-8293.
( It is Noodle approved. )
Here is a battle-scarred video iPod.
( now with more music chopping action. )
There are chips in the top right corner, and you can't see it very well, but there are small little nicks in the bottom left. Also not seen are the thousands of tiny scratches coating the screen.
This is why I shouldn't have nice things.
Today was not a good day. It might have, perhaps, been a bad one. For a number of small reasons that added up.
Mostly because I've recently discovered that I might be out of a job due to constraints on state budgets.
We shall see.
I feel bad that I've got a number of things to tag for various RPs and I don't really feel like keeping up right now.

So the hurricane/tropical storm has somewhat passed and it's been getting a little sunnier, but we had lots of rain yesterday, even if it was really on and off. It'd be raining buckets one moment to where it was hard to see when driving and then it'd stop. D:
Anyway. When I went to the grocery store with my brother yesterday to run some errands I ended up buying some Rolo chocolates since they were 2/$1.00, haha. I had actually eaten them way before the whole Code Geass thing, but I thought they were pretty delicious ever since I first tried them. |D ♥

I think I'm lucky to know my dogs, especially my two older dogs, especially my oldest. My oldest dog, now almost 10 years old, is by far the most intelligent and emotionally empathetic animal I've ever had the privilege to know. She's loyal and devoted to her pack, our family, beyond any comparison I know of, and understands emotion and intention beyond any training that she's had. She does things purely to make us happy, even if she doesn't think she'll get anything out of it.
An example is when she was a puppy, we left some food out for her while my parents went to work, and my sister and I went to school. We covered her bowl of food with a plastic plate to prevent bugs from getting in, and left her at home. When we came back home, we found a hungry little puppy, and an untouched, covered bowl of food. We easily pushed the plastic plate off for her, and she chowed down like crazy. Apparently, she thought that since the food was covered, it was not hers to eat. We found that out when we hid one of her toys in a very loosely covered container. She wanted it, but she assumed that our covering it from her meant that it wasn't for her.
Another awesome memory I have of her when she was a puppy was when we lived at Central Park. While my sister, mother, and I were talking in my room, she slowly walked in, head low and ears down. We watched her walk in, go into my closet, pick up a stuffed toy monkey from my shelf, and slowly walk out, looking at us. When we followed her out, she laid down by the stairs, carefully placing the toy in front of her, and looking at us in submissive anticipation of approval. She wanted that toy, but she didn't want to mess with it until we told her she could. She even made sure we saw her enter and leave, and made sure she didn't do anything with it until we came back.
Lol, speaking of Central Park, we used to have this game... which apparently she still remembers, even though we left there when she was like 2 years old. But she used to sit on the top of the stairs, and we would sit on the bottom, throw the ball up to her, and she would throw it back down. It sounds really lame, but it was really fun XDD If the ball got stuck, she would get up, go to the stair it was at, nudge it with her nose, or pick it up, go back up, sit down, and try again. Lol, it was really fun. She really loved to play fetch outside too. She still does, she just gets tired very easily.
Since we got the new puppy (our fourth dog), she's been working very hard to establish dominance.. but more than that, she's been trying really hard to make Cloud's dominance clear, our second-oldest dog. Cloudie isn't submissive to Sora or the puppy... but he doesn't fight for toys... So he would do all he can to prevent the puppy from taking his stuff, but when she did, he would just try to get another toy. While I was playing fetch with Cloudie today, the puppy kept taking his toy, since she's faster than him most of the time, and reaches it first many times. Cloudie becomes upset and stars looking for another toy, and the oldest dog just turns to me and looks for her cue. I look to the puppy and tell her "That's not yours, that's Cloudie's, Where's your ball?"
"Where's your ball" is the command we have to either find a toy or find a different toy than the one that is currently being held. So I was telling the puppy to get a different toy... my other dogs know this command. The oldest dog steps in, and forcefully takes the toy from the puppy, and starts walking away. When Cloud passes her, she drops the toy in front of him, and he cheerfully picks it up and gallops back to me for me to throw it for him again. This happened every time the puppy got the toy in the past few days. XD I couldn't believe it. My oldest wanted Cloud to have it... she didn't want to step over my authority to get it to him, but once she realized that I wanted Cloud to have it, she took action JUST to give the toy back to Cloud. Not to prevent the puppy from having the toy as many alphas might do, not to get the toy for herself, but because Cloudie, who is like her son, wanted that toy.
Cloudie really did believe, and may still believe, that our oldest is his mother. As a puppy he would try and curl up by her belly or sleep on her back, lol... our oldest hated him at first, but she warmed up to him very quickly. She doesn't tolerate anyone else abusing him, and Cloudie is protective over his mother figure as well. I think in a way, she's jealous of Sora because Cloud is friends with her. She doesn't accept Sora as her own, but tolerates her because it's clear that she's part of the pack. But Cloudie loves Sora very much. He's very protective of her, and enjoys playing with her, and she really cares about Cloud too.
Anyway... I wanted to post this because my parents are leaving and taking the dogs. I might not get to see my oldest dog very often after this... and since she's older, I keep thinking of what it might be like to not get to see her in her last days. I really love her, and she's a really awesome animal. I know she'll be happy, and I know she's had a REALLY great life. We all love her very much, and she definitely knows it! I hope she continues to be happy to her end, whether I'm there to see her to her passing or not.
