dot_cattiness. If you're familar with that comm or similar ones like dot_poly_snark, dot_bdsm_snark or dot_pagan_snark, you know what we're after here. Quality snarking, all the time.
Membership to the community is moderated. You don't need to make a big song and dance to join, but mods will be looking for your interest in queer matters in your profile or your public posts. i_hate_queers, you won't be belonging here.
This community is an inclusive space for all queers. Our working definition of "queer" is a broad one: it includes gays, bisexuals, lesbians, pansexuals, transexuals, intersexuals, and so on. If you don't believe that any of these groups do or should exist, this is not the community for you. Bigots of any description are not welcome.
Seen a post from some queer that made you roll your eyes to the heavens? You can't believe the trainwreckitude gays/bis/lesbos and transpeople allow to go on in their lives? Tired of people wanking on about the One Twoo Way of Queerdom? Let us know about it here.
However, no outing, and no reposts of locked posts (quoting, commenting on, and linking to them, is fine though). Similarly, if you are found posting this comm's locked entries elsewhere, with users identifiable, you will be banned. Snarking any class of person is not wanted - if you're tempted to say that "all dykes/hets/whatever are wankers" or something similar, do it elsewhere. Personal attacks are not wanted either: snark the behaviour and the idiocy. We can snark, but we can be courteous snarkers. If you can't manage that, you may or may not be warned; banning is always an option for those who can't "play nice". Yes, you can manage simple courtesy and still be bitchy.
Also, if you want to dish it out, you gotta be able to take it.
No ADVERTISING of any description, please. We really don't want to know about your wee gay dance in the school gym... unless it's snarkable.
