How do things roll around here?
We upload an album, we post it, you download it. Simple as that.

What kinds of metal will you post?
Between moonloop and I, we'll have a whole spectrum of headbanging goodness to share with you. We do not include metalcore or nu-metal, as those genres are not widely considered to be "true" metal.

Can I make a request?
Sure, that's what the request post is for! (Join to view.)

Why can't I post something?
Only the mods, scythe and moonloop, have posting access. If you'd like to share an awesome metal album with the world, try metal_mp3 or mandatory_metal.

A link is expired. Can I ask for a reupload?
Go right ahead, providing we still have the file.

How are posts organized? How do I find what I want?
The tags provide a comprehensive list of all the artists of uploaded albums, as well as the general metal subgenres in which they belong. (Assume a "metal" after every name; I thought it would get unnecessarily repetitive.)

What is the "theme" tag?
The theme tag is used only to note albums with lyrical themes outside the norm. "Norm" meaning personal subject matter, like love, life, drugs, etc., or anything that can't be strictly categorized. Take a look if you're searching for something a little more exotic. ;)

Can I affiliate with doomsdays?
