I was just typing the interest for the poll and I didn't expect to see them. Hahaha. I guess I can see why they might be the most d00med of all, considering she's dead... Well, not even vampire!status, you know?

I know. I was peeved when they destroyed that storyline. But whatever, I want more Henry. Bring me more scenes of his ass, plz.

haha i haven't even watched the second episode yet. its sitting on my mac, waiting for love. stupid [info]solitude_82 was all "CHARLES/MARGARET OTP I'M SO SAD SHE DIED" and i was all "... MICHELLE."

He technically didn't even marry Margaret in real life, he married Mary and they were married for quite some time. But it's just another instance of The Tudors getting history all wrong. I don't mind it though. It makes for great TV.

I dont necessarily want them to cut JRM OUT but they sure could cut him down a hell of a lot less and put Henry in more. Charles is the most fascinating character on the show. Who cares about spoiled ass Henry and his whims.

The funny thing is in the first rewrite on the oringal 'Sky High' script, Warren and Layla date and end up together without Layla having an attraction to Will. I like Will but Warren in so much cuter, hotter, better, etc. Drool. God that man is so hot. Anyway, They should totally kept that in the movie. It's so cliche(not sure if I'm spelling that right?) for the female best friend to end up with the protagonist. They need to end up with the bad boy. That's just my rant.

Lol, I just watched it last night for the first time with a friend for its "Young!Lily/Snape" quality (in the form of Warren/Layla), and my friend was terribly disappointed that Warren didn't end up with her! ;)

Of the ones I voted for, I say Harry/Luna was the most doomed, because neither one of them ever even considered it unlike, say, Ron/Luna, when Luna had that obvious crush on Ron, or Harry/Hermione, where we got a locket!kiss.

But then, in Edward/Bree, Bree's kind of dead - and not in the vampire way - which makes it pretty doomed. I mean, the fact that it's a product of Elyssa's mind aside.

Are slash pairings considered doomed? Because in Avatar: The Last Airbender, Jet/Zuko is officially a doomed ship. Jet's dead. ._. But if not, is Aang/Toph considered doomed since Aang's in love with Katara and Toph's in love with Sokka?

Warren/Layla. Oh, God. I saw Sky High a few months ago when I was going through my Steven Strait obsession and it was just terrible. WHY did they not end up together? I still think it's a plot.

I voted Doctor/Rose as the most d00med of all. Both because they're trapped in separate universes and because that separation devastated me a lot. Almost as much as my OTP of all time.

I didn't think it was terrible! I really enjoyed it because it made fun of itself. Very tongue-in-cheek.

I don't know. You know I always go for best friends turned lovers for OTPs but in this case I didn't. I liked my Warren/Layla because they had chemistry.

Well, I have never seen an episode of Dr. Who so I don't know much about it. Except the bits of spoilers I've gathered from my flist. And that sucks, separate universes? How/Why?

I mean terrible in a 'fantastic movie but WHY THE HELL DIDN'T SHE END UP WITH WARREN' sort of way Um. Yes.

They did have chemistry. Much more than Will/Layla, IMO. But, hell, I think Will/Warren have more chemistry than Will/Layla. I was so sad when I realized that there wasn't a lot of good fanfic out there.

YOUNEEDTOSEEIT. Come on! You can watch David Tennant and his inappropriate oral fixation! And OTP over Doctor/Rose! And - yes. I am horrified you have not seen it. But, yes, separate universes. She got sucked into an alternate one with an alternate Earth via some - actually, you know what? I cannot fully recall the hows. It happened because the actress wanted to leave, though. But I was in tears for HOURS after seeing it (at seven in the morning, no less, because Jess and I stayed up all night to finish the season) and couldn't listen to my playlist for weeks without hurting more. IT WAS TERRIBLE. And they RUBBED IN IT AT THE END, because they could talk to each other for a brief moment and she told him she loved him, FINALLY, and he was getting ready to tell her the same thing and it all faded out and SHE NEVER GOT TO HEAR IT AND IT KILLS ME.

i always find it 'fun' (in a sort of masochistic way) to read other fangirl's recount of doomsday. we really took a beating with that one, didn't we?

i voted for D/R as the most doomed one
the separated universes is just awful.
that episode made me cry for hours. i still do if i see it. or a photo. or a fanvid. or think about it too much. or listen to snow patrol.
that was the saddest thing i've seen in my life
i have only happy icons.
but i do have a HUGE collection of heartbreaking dooomsday ones,.


i was watching sky high again today. warren/layla is cool,i like that. he is so much better than will.

i loved mac/cassidy!!!!! they were so adorkable!
and rory/jess, oh, literati you break my heart

is simon/river really all that doomed? i mean, i know they're siblings, but csi,people, 500 years from now,it's not like, impossible

peter/claire was rough. people shipped them happily and suddenly...they're related!

for the record, i do think some ships are missing-
like will/lyra, from HDM
mulder/scully, jack/sam, john/elizabeth,aiden/danny,clark/chloe,ephram/laynie, mohinder/eden,claire/zach,sam/ainsley,mac/cassidy,jack/nina,mal/zoe,aiden/teyla,lauren/sark, tom/diana,daniel/janet... etc, i cant remember any more

Dear God, it's deperessing how many of my ships are on this list. Alanna/Jon [although I liked her better with Liam in the 4th book], Jacob/Bella, Jack/Elizabeth, and Snape/Lily.

And thank you Stephenie Meyer, I'd have to say Jacob/Bella is now the most doomed. Although before the quote that made me want to scream, it would have been Jack/Elizabeth.

Also, I am impressed with my level of denial -- until I saw it on the list, I actually completely thought that Layla and Warren got together in Sky High. And when I found out that they didn't, it took me like ten minutes to remember why not.

Selective memory is the way to go, y'all. It's the only way to cope.

Is it sad that Simon/River isn't even the only doomed ship I support from Firefly? I know that Zoe/Wash was cute, but I'm Mal/Zoe all the way. Too bad my two ships for this show were doomed from the beginning.

I forgot I shipped Jack/Elizabeth, until I came across the ticky box. So that makes my doomed ship count three. Jacob/Bella, Jack/Elizabeth, and Chloe/Clark (Smallville). And even though they're unbelievably cannon I might say Buffy/Angel because Joss just hates shippers. Nobody ever ends up together. Ever. So pretty much anyone you ship in Jossverse is a doomed ship.

I must have a fetish for doomed ships or an allergy to canon, because I see most of my OTPs there. lol I'm so happy I found this community.

I personally ship and love:
Harry/Hermione (BIGGEST OTP of my fandom life)
Ron/Luna
Draco/Ginny
Derek/Casey
Peter/Claire
Jack/Elizabeth (2nd biggest OTP)
Violet/Klaus

I think the ship that's the most doomed is/was Luke/Leia. People shipped them happily and then BAM! The sibling-bomb was dropped. A little similar with Peter/Claire. With Violet/Klaus you already knew they were related so you should've known what you were getting yourself into. Lol

Well, I thought - all of them seem pretty doomed. XD; In terms of yeah this and that.

But I thought Draco/Hermione might have, strictly sticking to the question and not out of opinion or anything. I mean, Draco's parents are death eaters, he's a Slytherin, it's basically like he's got a group following him every second going "Hey, Draco! There's one! There's a mudblood! Let's kick him!"

Ahaha, theres ALOT of Twilight fans here! o_O!

chloe & lex (they hate each other... and anyway, now, I don't like Lex that much so...)
Eriol & tomoyo (he's in love with his teacher and she's in love with her best friend... but i still ship them, lol)
Denny & Izzy (who cares he's dead? he was the love of her life!)

Yeah, I ship 4 of these (not counting Alanna/Jon, which I half-ship for the first two books, or H/L, my backup I rooted for after HHr 'sunk,' lol):

Bella/Jacob
Harry/Hermione
Jack/Elizabeth
Snape/Lily

Of these, I think Jack/Elizabeth is the most doomed, just because her devotion to Will (God only knows why!) and the un-edginess of Disney (lol) prevented it, even though they both were clearly attracted to each other, Jack clearly loved Elizabeth more than he had ever loved anyone else before, and they could have worked out! ("Keep telling yourself that, darling!")

But there are several others that should be added to the list:

Jake/Cassie from Animorphs, Asriel/Marisa from HDM(sure they had Lyra together, but annoying spouses, bitterness, and equal ambitions kept them apart, though they really only loved each other throughout their lives--at least they're together now I suppose, falling in that abyss! ;)), Artemis/Holly from Artemis Fowl (separated by different races/sizes/cultures, one human and one fairy!), Veronica/Logan (WHY?!), Wesley/Lilah (his love for Fred and Lilah's death), Cordy/Angel, Dumbledore/Gindelwald, and James/Sirius....

Derek/Casey - How can you not. They're amazing. The sexual tension, the love, the everything. Guh. I just love it so much. I worship it.
Draco/Hermione - LOVELOVE angst, forbidden, slightly comical parings. I this one is my fav. I just love the thought of Mr.Popular and Mrs.Bookworm together.
It makes me smile.
Snape/Lily - They are just to cute for words. So, I just ship 'em. :3
