New pictures [18 Nov 2004|05:46pm] kia_ora Hey everyone! Excited about MTV's European Music Awards tonight? I hope you've all voted for Muse in the two categories they are nominated for [Best Alternative and Best UK & Ireland Act], so hopefully we might see them up on stage, taking home an award or two. If not... who the hell cares. *grins* Quality is rarely recognized after all, esp. in the music biz. For anyone who hasn't seen them yet, there are brand new pictures of Muse floating the net. They will be awailable in the December issue of "Rip & Burn" magazine. It's... a different look, so I hope it'll spark some discussion around here. Here are two pics for your viewing pleasure ( - behind the cut! ) Dom proudly shows off his black and pink chucks again, haha. I left Matt in because, if I may say so in a Dom community, he looks fucking fantastic in that 2nd picture. PHWOAR at both of them!! What does everyone else think of the cover? I laughed a lot. Thank God there's not as much make-up involved as with another UK band these days. ;) And when did Dom start growing facial hair?! *lol* They should do a remake of "Teen Wolf" with him in it. Considering how long this community has been around, there are too few entries to look back on, don't you think? So I want to welcome you all to a new era of "Dom Of Muse". ;) From now on I'll try to bring you all the latest on our favourite drummer - pictures, interviews, links, trivia - a.s.a.p, but will also dive into the depths of my hard drive to resurrect old interviews, memorable quotes, funny or drool-worthy pics and things for us to discuss. Of course I'd be happy to see a lot of participation from all our members as well. :) Feel free to post whatever you think might be of interest - this can include news about the drumming world in general, questions you have about Dom/his kit/his clothes, fan manips, tales of when you met Dom, ... There's no limit, really. Just try to stay on-topic. In order to celebrate this "new beginning", the community's layout has changed. They formed in Devon, England in 1997, although the three members had been banging it out in bands together since they were 13. Often compared to Radiohead, Muse evolved away from that sound by introducing a heavier sound on their latest album 'Absolution'. While they were in Australia for the Big Day Out, Muse's Dominic Howard spoke with Undercover's Tim Cashmere. ( The Interview ) hit me!
