dollhouse_itest is a brand new comm which will consist of fortnightly 'challenge weeks' of 3 challenges, followed by one 1 voting week. In each 'challenge week' you will be able to enter up to 6 icons!!

Fox picks up 'Lie to Me' and 'Human Target'
Fox has picked up Lie to Me, as expected, and has also hired Shawn Ryan to serve as showrunner, which is a pleasant surprise.
The Shield creator has apparently been helping behind the scenes for the past few months (so if the show seems like it's gotten better/worse in recent episodes, this could be the reason). Ryan developed The Shield at FX when current Fox entertainment president Kevin Reilly was running the network, so this represents a reunion of sorts. Ryan is also still running CBS' The Unit, which is on the bubble for a pickup.
Fox also picked up the drama pilot Human Target with Fringe actor Mark Valley as a man who takes on a different identity each week to help others. One could see the Target pickup as potentially threatening to Fox's Dollhouse, which has a similar setup, or as potential boon, should Fox decide to pair the two shows.
Sources say Dollhouse fans shouldn't lose hope; that despite the show's recent ratings, the show is still alive. Whedon pitched the network on his vision for season two late last week. Discussions have commenced between Fox and the studio about how to make the show work financially.
Personally, I am thrilled & shocked that they even had Joss pitching his ideas for a season 2!!! I really thought we were COMPLETELY dead in the water. This is a lovely glimmer of hope imo. :) |

| What is the Dollhouse Fanbase called? |

Sorry if this has already been discussed somewhere, but I've been thinking a lot about this and was wondering what your opinions are.
To the extent of my knowledge, our fanbase doesn't really have a collective name, therefore:
Question: If avid firefly fans are called "browncoats" then what are we avid Dollhouse fans called? I feel like we should have a name. Things are catchier that way, especially for campaigning purposes. |

In order to celebrate the first full season of Dollhouse, why not participate in the first annual ficathon? A fication involves writers signing up to participate in a fic exchange.
