| About: |  Doll Street is a community for the discussion, showing off, buying, selling and trading of Jun Planning's (creator of Pullips) fairly new line of dolls, J-Dolls. I made this community because there really isn't a place on the Internet specifically for people who like J-Dolls (they're often just a side-topic in Pullip forums/communities), which makes it hard to find photography of and information about them. I also hope that, in gathering together collectors of these dolls, they will become more popular (sadly, their lifespan is dependent on their popularity-- Jun Planning is known to scrap products that don't earn them enough money). Feel free to join and post away!  1. No spamming or trolling. Of course, do not come here to advertise a site that has nothing to do with Jun Planning or J-Dolls, and don't harass or insult other members. Also, please keep the discussion related to J-Dolls, for the most part. It's fine to mention other lines, but don't make a post that has nothing to do with J-Dolls. This community was created to give J-Dolls in particular the spotlight they deserve. Update: Since I've had a hard time getting people to follow this rule lately, I'll add a clarification: unless your post relates to J-Dolls in some significant way, do not post it here. This means no strung ball-jointed dolls of any kind, no Barbies, no Bratz, no Pullips, no Tonners, no Fashion Royalty, etc. It also means no sale posts unless you're selling J-Dolls or J-Doll clothes (or clothes that will fit J-Dolls). There are several groups on the internet for you to discuss all of these dolls. They are not hard to find. Doll_street is ONLY for J-Dolls, because there aren't many places to find collectors of them. 2. Don't post photographs that don't belong to you without giving credit. It's fine to post official Jun Planning fliers (here are two examples-- official fliers almost always have the J-Doll logo on them, but if you're not sure, ask!). It's very rude, however, to post someone else's photography without crediting their work. 3. Be a responsible seller/buyer. If you're involved in a purchase or trade, obviously, go through with it. Untrustworthy buyers and sellers are quick to be added to blacklists in communities like these, so please make every transaction as smooth as you can.  J-Doll Flickr Group - Flickr photo group; find lots of pictures of J-Doll owners' dolls! The Valley of the Dolls - U.S. distributor of J-Dolls; this store is probably the cheapest and most reliable option for American customers. Also, it now has a physical location in Los Angeles! Hobby Link Japan - Japanese-based store that carries J-Dolls and ships internationally (site is in English as well). Kawaii Shop - French store that carries J-Dolls, owned by one of our members, nelene_pullips. Jun Planning Official Site - Homepage of Jun Planning, the creators of J-Dolls. Frickart - Japanese doll store/blog that usually has the latest information on newly-announced J-Dolls and Pullips; does not ship internationally. Magma Heritage - Singapore-based doll shop that carries J-Dolls and ships internationally. Wlyhidy Toys and Dolls - A Hong Kong-based eBay store that sells J-Dolls and ships internationally. This is a good place to find J-Doll doll/outfit spits. Wlyhidy usually splits at least one of every J-Doll release and sells the nude doll and her outfit separately. Natalie's Toy House - Another Hong Kong-based eBay store with a great reputation. Mimiwoo - Yet another Hong Kong-based store that sells J-Dolls. However, Mimiwoo's recent price increases are outrageous and any of the other stores are probably much better options. Street of J-Doll - A neat little site that uses Google maps to show all of the actual streets that J-Dolls are named after. | ||
