About

DOGinThe Parallel World Orchestra is a Japanese Rock Band from Tokyo. The band was started by vocalist Haru (ex-オーダーメイド, 氷男). Their activity was announced through Haru’s News Letter in 2008, also provided was a link to the bands official blog. Very little information was given about the band, except that there were currently 3 members. And the statement “Welcome To New WORLD!!!!!!!!!!” along with 2 live dates were posted in their first entry. Later, more was posted saying that there would be more information on the 3rd of February. On February 3rd, they updated the blog with a link to their new OHP. On the OHP all 4 members were announced with pictures and a little more information.

春 (Haru) is the vocalist and the one who started the band. He is well known for being the vocalist of the band オーダーメイド (ordermade), who disbanded in 2008. After that he started a solo project called 氷男 (Koori Otoko). The project ended on December 12th, 2008.

準々 (JunJun) is one of the two guitarists in DOG. He was formerly in the band, シンディケイト. He also participated as one of the support members in Haru's project, 氷男.

ミズキ (Mizuki) is the other guitarist, next to JunJun, in the band. Mizuki did not participate in any notable bands before his career in DOG. He mainly played in bands on the indie circuit, and was used as a support member.

メイ (Mei) is the Bass player in DOG. Like Mizuki, he did not have much notable past band experience before he was announced as a member of DOG.

[-49-] is the first single release by DOG. The single was available in 2 versions; A Live Sold Version, and a Mail Order Version. Each version featured the song aPPlE[worLd]go-RouNd but contained different B-Side Tracks. The Live Sold Version featured the song ケミカルPiCt, while the Mail Order Version had the song コラン. When ordering the Mail Order Version from DOG's Official Website, you would receive a bonus CD with the song HAZARD-P.W.O. HAZARD-P.W.O is a short Set Entrance.
