It's the apocalypse and this is how my brain reacts...
Doctor Who is officially embedded into my brain. I thought it was before, but this just proves it.

I had a dream last night and it was awesome. First of all, it's the apocalypse. Mass chaos, violence, burning cities, and a whole lot of destruction. (...That's not the awesome part, by the way.) So a soldier grabs me and throws me into a truck that is taking people to safety. I'm not scared, but I am annoyed. I thought the world ending was really coming at an inconvenient time because I haven't seen the Christmas special of Doctor Who yet.

So we're driving along and stop because there's a kid at the side of the road. One of the soldiers hands a little boy in shorts a gas mask and I start giggling to myself, "Awww... he'll look like the kid from Doctor Who!" The kid puts the gas mask on and starts looking around and ask, "Has anyone seen my mummy?" To everyone's surprise I jump up, throw my hands up and laugh like a crazy person yelling, "Close enough!!! I can die happy now! I saw a real-life Who villain!!" I'm laughing so hard in my dream, I wake up laughing.

I am pretty sure I would react the same in a real life situation...

Just a thought.
I had a dream. Now, oddly, I can barely remember it (for once) but I remember I used shock pads on the Doctor. Now, I don't remember why I was in it, but anyways. How much would you have to over charge those babies if you're using them on a Time Lord and both the hearts have stopped?

I know, odd question.

Nothing stays the same...
I was half listening to CBC. An old man was talking about re-visiting Spain, a country he had last seen in his youth. "I've changed and so has Barcelona," he said.

I couldn't help but picture Ten saying it as an old man (man and old, of course, being relative terms). Hair gone gray and hunched in a trench coat - a coat which used to fit him so well and which now dwarfs his frail shoulders - he sighs and heads down to a city he'd intended never to visit again.

Dogs with no noses, he thinks, and wonders if he'll ever be able to tell that joke again.

:D
Hi there. I had a dream last night that I was in an art class and we were learning how to draw the head/ face. So I got given this sheet that we had to copy from, and who's face was on this sheet? Why PRIME MINISTER HARRIET JONES of course. So my classmates one by one said; "oh look, it's former PM Harriet Jones!" Random.

Also,  a while ago I had a generic Doc Who dream, involving me running around, adventuring and being awesome with said Doctor. Nothing particularly incredible dreamwise, until one of my best friends told me that she'd had the SAME DREAM on the SAME DAY! SHOCK HORROR!!! (we both also had another dream the same night which was very similar but non-DW) So now we say we have a deep and meaningful Doctor Who dream connection. We also do the handshake from Fresh Prince of Bel Air because we're so amazingly cool.

It's a sign!!!!!11!!
lol

Jack finally makes an appearance and he's signed one of those "second virginity" cards
How low must your self-esteem be when you dream that you are trapped in a bunker with Jack, there is only one (double) bed, both of your clothes are in tatters, it's cold, and he doesn't want to have sex with you?

Funny Who Dream
I had a nap today and just (? never know with naps, time works different in the dream world) before I woke up my mind gave me a Who dream.

May be slightly spoilery )

Sooo, anyone had any cracky Who dreams lately? I swear, my mind makes the strangest connections sometimes...oO

Another 'Doctor Who is taking over my brain' moment...
I've not posted here before so this is kind of a 'Hello' and a weird dream post. :D

I've noticed that with the lack of new episodes we're all having these little moments, and I've finally had one of them myself.

I've been downloading all the episodes from the iPlayer and since I've got the whole of the fourth series I decided to start watching them yesterday (that and they are all about to start expiring soon).

Anyway, last night I dreamt that the Doctor and Donna were in Las Vegas... except it wasn't really Las Vegas. It was Inverary high street, which had sort of turned into a cul-de-sac with neon lights. Oh, and it was dark.

By the time they'd wandered up one side of the street someone had stolen the TARDIS. So they did the logical thing and decided to put on a show called "All Things Blue" to get it back. (Don't you just love dream logic).

Well, the Blue Men weren't too happy about these newcomers shouldering in on their territory (I think the Blue Men were aliens of some sort). There was a brief moment when Donna phoned her mum and the Doctor was telling her to hurry up so that she could get on stage with him for their act.

The next thing to happen was that the pair of them were suspended upside down over a vat of bubbling liquid, by the Blue Men of course. Donna was saying something to the Doctor about the mess they were in... then my Dad woke me up!

Ugh... I want to know how it ended, it was brilliant!

Peter Davison
So I've been having these strange dreams lately. Things like eating egg shells or my Mom being on the Supreme Court, etc...

That is besides the point.

Last night I had the most normal dream in a while, and here it is...

It was a TEN (Tennant) and FIVE (Davison) crossover episode with two TARDISes (old and new) and Donna and Nyssa. But I remembered how Davison looked in Time Crash and I remember that in my dream Davison had a gut and the director was constantly using the TARDIS console to cover up the gut.

I loved Davison's Doctor!
He rocked!

Doctor Who, the musical
It's the second time ever that I dreamt a full Doctor Who episode; and this time it was Doctor and Donna - singing :)

Unfortunately most of the dream faded away; the premise was Doctor calling Donna in some office she was for some reason (must've been a low budget episode ;) and telling her that they must sing to save the world. The songs started out as covers of some hits, but descended into silly ditties about the great Doctor and his companions.

I remember only three lines from the dream:

1.The Doctor calls the office, and a secretary picks up the phone:

DOCTOR: Tell her the Doctor is calling
SECRETARY: I'm sorry, doctor who ?
DONNA: Give me that phone!

2.
DOCTOR: Donna, I need you to sing with me
DONNA: Sing!? Who do you think I am, Kylie Minogue?

3.
DONNA: Can't you just like, call the Beatles or something?
DOCTOR: I can't, it has to be somebody from Earth

My Doctor who Dream
I tend to have very strange dreams some even coming true which makes me worry sometimes, one dream I remember vividly I had years back of the world being flooded and only me and some have people were taking to a cave to escape it while my friends wore coloured raincoats to protect themselves which was hilarious.

Anyway to the point I had one of the best dreams last night that I had to share some of with you I don’t wanna bore you but I dreamed I was in doctor who, it was so very cool lol me the doctor and Donna were in this factory and running (of course) in it I think we were being chased by something im not sure anyway then all of a sudden Rose turned up and her and the doctor were hugging and then rose hugged me and we went off running again and bumped into jack and hugs all around again. I then wanted to tell Rose what will happen to her because something horrible was going to happen that I knew about but the doctor told me no and then this fence popped up with our all of us on the other side and I shouted out to them to stop but was hit on the head and then I woke up haha other stuff did I happen but I don’t wanna bore everyone so I was just wandering anyone had any doctor who related dreams and my dreams tend to come true once had a dream my teacher had a baby and next day she tells she’s is pregnant so if we see a factory or a fence in the finale I think will run away scared.

One Crazy Trip (contains spoilers)
A couple of weeks ago Mum and I paid another visit to South Wales, stayed at Nana and Bampa's for a fabulous Sunday roast and drove all around the Gower, sight-seeing. The weather wasn't too great, just overcast and quite chilly. We stopped at a beach - the name escapes me - where I decide to wonder off for a bit. Turned a corner...

Imagine how surprised I was to be a metre from David Tennant, scribbling autographs for the little ankle-bting adults whilst trying to get to a stage door of a building closeby! When the place was cleared, I watched from behind a rock, with two old ladies, cams in both hands, as the crew prepare for a scene from one of the later episodes, presumably 4x11.

EDIT: really sorry for those who read too much!

You know you've been focusing on DW too much when...
...you have a dream about it where you're the companion. Seventh Doctor era.

(I rarely have dreams about things I'm into. Sometimes I'll have a dream right when I'm getting into it if I've been intense on it for a little while [when I first got into Who, I had a DW dream... the TARDIS was a school bus and it was covered inside in gorgeous colorful mosaic tiles... other parts of the dream involved kissing the Doctor [Nine] and something about being really sleepy and trying to sleep everywhere], and sometimes I'll have dreams on it if it's something that's REALLY been intense in my life for a long while. I just got into Seven 2 days ago, so this is the former.)

It's a bit of a long post, so here's a link to it.

I had a dream last night that would work perfectly as a two Doctor story (but with 7th Doctor and Ace being one team). And would work almost as a direct sequel to both Death to the Daleks and Doomsday.

Space plagues and scabies, super Daleks, and more. Still, it was quite a dark dream.

Maybe I should write a book?

OK OK subconscious, i give in. Every night since Wednesday i've had a dream where I'm watching Planet of Evil. Admittedly with a few minor variations (I'm not sure the original featured the Queen playing Marvin at chess, for instance). Perhaps this a new BBC sales technique. So yes, off I go to the emporium of materialism... and at least I'l find out how they did the effects for that creepy red monster!

Doctor Dream
This morning I had a dream that included my sister-in-law, a small child, the character Adam from Dark Shadows, and the Doctor. We had arrived on an alternative universe Gallifrey.

The things that stood out:

1) The Doctor confiding in me that since it was an alternative universe, he had no idea what to expect and was scared.

2) Tables were set up for people to sit down at for some sort of mysterious luncheon or meeting. We were all expected to find a pass in order to sit down.

3) Adam was grumbling (for those who are Dark Shadows fans, it's Adam towards the end of his run) about not having a ticket and not knowing how to get one.

No regular TimeLord garb was noticed. The place almost resembed a commecial building.

Hello
Hello, I've been lurking here for a bit but have yet to post anything. Within the past...week I've watched the entirety of the 'New Who'. Apparently, this may not qualify as a very good idea because last night I dreamt me and my mom were sitting there with 9 watching some random episode starring the 10th, and my mom (who has never watched the show) was talking to 9 saying 'Now I know you're smarter then him, but please don't spoil anything, I want to figure it out on my own'. That wasn't even the whole of the dream, just the related bit.

In any case, Hi, I have a lot to say in regards to the series, but I'd end up writing a novel. I'd love to have a conversation with someone. As opposed to having...around 30+ hours sitting in my head.

Hey, Ringo, I've just had the strangest dream
Ok.

I remember singing All You Need Is Love.

But the basic dream was:

.... A small group of people (~10, including me) were spies. We went to zombies village on large field; unfortunately, they seen us and we were forced to run; our leader was a betrayer, but she wasn't really bad -she gave me a note: "This is the clue. [some lyrics]. If you'll understand what song is this, you're save".
We run. Aside us 4th Doctor  was running like Jack Sparrow and waving a wand.

In the end I understood what song's lyrics it was: I'm Only Sleeping.

Some time later I woke up.

:)

...
I was dreaming Jon Pertwee and John Barrowman were my guests. John was joyful, but Jon was very sad and thoughtful. I asked John for autograph, and he gave me it; also he wrote "jon pewwe" (or something like this) and said, "This is Pertwee's autograph". I left him and came to Jon; he gave me a note with "To Margo from Jon Pertwee" superscription.

And only when I woke up I realized Jon is dead.

On another completely random note, I had a dream about Doctor Who. I think it was because I watched the beginning of that ep right before bed. Anyway, it was about Rose and Martha meeting, and their reactions and stuff. They got along quite well. I even dreamed that I wrote up a review ofthe episode like this on LJ. Strange.

Weird-ass dream
So I think this is the first time I've ever posted here, but I've been reading for a long time.

Now, I'm a big fangirl, and I tend to have DW dreams at least two or three times a week (mostly they're like episodes that I get to play the companion in), but last night I had a DW nightmare. I went to the Chicago Tardis convention, and everyone was trying to chase after me and kill me for some reason. I have no clue why, except that I found out something I wasn't supposed to know? Or something? I don't really remember. All I know is that various monsters from various different episodes (old and new series) were chasing me everywhere, trapping me on the elevator, and trying to kill me, right along with the fen.

So please, if I get to go to Chicago Tardis next year, don't kill me. I swear I'm just an innocent fangirl. :)

The Nightmare Begins
Following on from yesterday's discussion about our various plans for next week's new season launch, does anyone else ever experience weird dreams in the run-up to a new season?
The dreams haven't started yet, which means I may be getting a bit blase in my old age, but for the first two seasons the weeks before new Who were bedeviled by dreams in which I, variously, forgot Doctor Who was on and wandered off, only to remember too late, broke the VCR and/or recorded the wrong thing and, most worryingly of all, discovered that the Doctor was being played by Les Dennis in the style of Prince Charles.
So am I alone in having these Who-related anxiety dreams?
I am? Oh.
