A while ago, I did a drawing of the Doctor and Donna for an art project, so I'll share it with you. :)

 

Late to the party here and all, but I've just squirreled away some time to write again after bit of an absence from writing and a really, really long absence from fanfic. So, the first part of of a Post 'Journey's End' fic lies below. It's ridiculously unbeta'd, so there's no one to blame for any glaring screw-ups but myself. That said, anyone that wants to do me the favor of reading for anything particularly wretched would be a great help. :)

I watched Turn Left again tonight on Sci-Fi and aside from the fact they cut some of the bestest bits from the dialogue again there was something else annoying me...

Inspired by the success of the newest incarnation of the legendary BBC sci-fi show DOCTOR WHO, the Brattle is offering up a selection of some of our favorite WHO stories on the big screen. For the uninitiated, DOCTOR WHO is the longest running sci-fi TV show on the planet, since 1963 it has been delighting audiences with a blend of campy effects, excellent scripts, and charismatic characters – not the least of which being The Doctor himself, a ‘timelord’ who travels through time and space in a blue police telephone box protecting the universe from all kinds of dangers. For this celebration we will be featuring two full storylines from the most well known Doctor, Tom Baker, plus a selection of episodes from the recent resurrection of the show starring Christopher Eccleston and David Tennant.

“Looks like fun,” I replied. “Don’t suppose you’re planning to set it up in the office – we could write it of as a team building exercise.”

She shook her head, “I just wish I knew what they were called.”

“Bouncy Castle. They’re called bouncy castles.”

She looks at me, surprised. “How did you know that? No one else knew.”

I turn beat red. “When Cassandra possesses Rose in Doctor Who, that’s what she calls her. She said it was like living in a bouncy castle.”

“What?”

“Errrr. Never mind how I know.”

Apologies if this is in any way off-topic, but: can someone direct me to icons or an icon community that would possibly have/make (GOOD!) icons for minor(!!!) Torchwood characters?

I'm specifically looking for Katie Russell icons (Owen's fiancee in "Fragments") --and I'm not talking about icons with both her and Owen in, I'd like to find some of her on her own or as the central focus. (Lazy kvenkman is lazy, and her icon-making skills are currently "crop, crop, ick!")

Even icons of the actress, the lovely Andrea Lowe, would be appreciated. I hear she was on Casualty as well as a few other popular BBC shows , (according to IMDB.com, The Bill, Murphy's Law, Where the Heart Is, and a few others. I believe this list is of shows where she was in more than one episode...)

Did anyone go along to the Film & Comic Con in London today? I went and met Peter Davison. Very charming fellow, lovely to talk to and I got a picture with him. He was my favourite guest to meet from the stars I saw.

So my flatmate and I have been still discussing Journey's End and it's inspired random comics.

See I have this dry erase board on my door and I usually update it daily with a new comic. So I've actually started doing them on paper and uploading them (because my flatmate wanted an icon)
