There have been so many brilliant general reviews already, so i've focused on just one thing, the Tenth Doctor's final moments.

Over the past few days, i've heard them referred to as everything from breathtakingly brilliant to an abomination, and the rising tide of opinion describing Ten as a coward and a crybaby is absolutely infuriating me as it flies in the face of everything the episode was seemingly trying to say.

A few thoughts on "The End of Ten Time"
( Here be SPOILERS for 1 & 2 )

So into the New Year...

...and yes, it's still going!

Group 15 opened last week and Group 14 is still running if you'd like to make a difference there.

Never too late to join in, and although you do have to register in order to vote the only price you'll pay for that is a couple of PMs each month to remind you when groups are opening or closing. Hope to see you there!

Living in the US does have it's obstacles... and one of them being viewing DW. On top of living in the US, I don't have access to BBCAmerica and am completely reliant on BBCA to upload videos on iTunes.

That being said, I just finished EoT and was left with an overwhelming amount of emotions. Of course it was distressing to watch the final scenes with Tenant. I have come to really enjoy his performance as the Doctor and will miss him immensely. Furthermore, the mysterious plots for Davis will also be missed (I just loved how he continued to keep one guessing and overlooking even the smallest clue (i.e. he will knock 4 times... I think I actually chuckled a bit when i discovered it's true reference).

But.... then there's excitement. Where I was deeply worried about Smith's arrival to the show and Moffat's new position, I am just curious to see how the duo will collaborate to sustain the show's success. Only time will tell. I don't usually get to post my thoughts about DW because I am not fortunate to view the show as early as others. However I really wanted to blog my tribute to Tenant and Davis on their departure from the show.

Ok, hi, I'm new to this community having gone slightly bananas since the end of Ten.

So forgive me if everyone asks this.

One did the Master ever have a "real name" - a Gallifreyan name?

Two is it well established canon that he and the Dr were once friends? Y'know like Lex and Clark on te new Smallville? Or am I just inventing that from obvious current slashery? Like, were they at "Star Fleet academy" together? You know what I mean :)

THird - this one-time drop that the Dr might be half human. It is established TimeLords can breed with non TLs isn't it? Even tho TL repro is by this Loom thing??
