Why this Community?:
Star Trek: Deep Space 9 is, of course, a completed series. Taken off the air years ago, it now exists in television reruns, DVD boxed sets, and the love of its fans.
Perhaps one of the most intriguing and multi-layered relationships in the series was that of the station's doctor, Julian Subatoi Bashir, and its tailor, Elim Garak.
The series may be over, but it is our sincere hope that the fandom, though quieter now than even a couple of years ago, still exists and still posesses an interest and affection in these characters.
What to Post?:
Any and all fanworks which deal with, focus on, even reference the relationship (canon, fanon, platonic, romantic, whatever your cup of tea may be) between Garak and Bashir. Writing of all sorts, drabbles, long fic, poems, filk, rants (intelligent and respectful), theories, discussions, queries, questions, lists, book/episode/fic reviews/recs/requests, art, illustration, icons, colorbars, banners, screenshots, scans, links, on-topic spam, etc. etc. etc.
Any and all maturity ratings from G to NC-17.
Even if you simply share the same love/interest/appreciation/curiosity in the characters and want to say hi, please post! Stand up and be counted. We'd love to know that there is still an existant fandom of ANY sort for this pair. Tell us who you are!
One More Quick Note: When struck by the urge to post awesome things that you've found which aren't your own creative doings and for which you don't have the original artist's/author's permission to repost, instead of reposting images/text directly, post a direct link to the work/original website for us to enjoy! This is a SLASH FRIENDLY community. That means (we hope!) that there will be plenty of Garak/Bashir content in which a relationship of a sexual and/or romantic nature (this means man-on-man, kids!) is presented. You have been warned!
That said, this is NOT a slash-only community, but if you are going to include heterosexual romances (or indeed, any other relationship outside of the title pair) please make sure BOTH Garak and Bashir (and their interaction!) feature in the work. We all know Bashir has plenty of canon relationships with women, and the better fanworks (yes, even slash) do NOT ignore this fact. Just keep the name of this community in mind when posting anything.

Common courtesy here. Lj-cut images and large blocks of text and anything that may not be work-safe. On fic and art, please provide some sort of rating as well as any warnings for content. Brief summaries/description outside the cut are nice, but not required.
