This community is for people who are suicidal, or often feel suicidal, to find non-judgemental comfort and support with others who have similar feelings and experiences. Feel free to rant, rave, cry, or just post about your day. It is a closed community to provide some security for our members against spammers, trolls, and any other aggitators. Membership will be subject to a moderator's review and approval.

Rules:
  1. This community is a place to discuss and express feelings of suicide to people who will listen, not to promote or encourage the act. Please bear this in mind.

  2. Likewise, be open-minded. Do not chide, lecture, harass, or patronize other members. No flaming, trolling, or abusive comments. Breaking this rule will result in immediate banning. Remember, this should be a forum where everyone feels free to open themselves up and share things that they may not be able to express anywhere else.

  3. We do not promote or encourage suicide, but we recognize the need for a space where people can talk about their suicidal feelings without automatically getting a heap of responses telling them what a terrible thing it is to do. People have many reasons for feeling the way they do. Do not make assumptions about them, their lives and feelings, or presume to know better than they do whether it's all worth it.

  4. Supportiveness is welcomed and encouraged. Forwards, spams, and simplistic spew are not. This is a place for friendship, listening, and sharing feelings with people who understand.

  5. It's a depression and suicide community, so there will be talk about things which may trigger some people, such as suicide, cutting, and other forms of self-injury. Remember that LJ rules forbid evaluation and recommendation of specific methods.

  6. Long posts, graphic descriptions and/or images must be placed under an lj-cut with an informative title. If you don't know how, please read this link before posting.
