About:

Welcome! This is a community for everyone who enjoys the series DN Angel and loves making or voting on icons of the series! Each week there will be a theme in which people can vote for their favorite icons, and the first place icon will be used as the community's icon for the week.

1. All icons submitted must relate to the DN Angel anime/manga.
2. All icons must relate to the week's theme. Otherwise, it'll be omitted from the competition.
3. All icons that you submit must be yours.
4. All icons submitted must be compatible with Livejournal standards (100 x 100 and no more than 40KB).
5. Do not vote for yourself, let the icon speak for itself and try to win honestly.
6. Please do not advertise your icon before the results are announced.
7. Doujinshi/Fanart/Cosplay images are not allowed, you must use official art.

All submissions will be screened, so the icons that you make will not be announced or seen until voting time. Please submit your icons between Sunday 9:00 PM and Friday 9:00 PM CST (Central Standard Time). No anonymous entries allowed. Voting time will be between Friday 9:30 PM and Sunday 9:30 PM CST (Central Standard Time).

In order to vote, you must first be a member! If you are not a member, your vote will be discarded completely. To vote choose three icons, starting with your first choice, etc. It'll be graded according to following scale: First choice: 3 points, Second choice: 2 points, and third choice: 1 point. When commenting with your votes, please use this format:

1st: 55
2nd: 43
3rd: 39
SC: 21

or

55, 43, 39; 21

There are also special categories that change every week =
Most Creative: The icon that shows the most originality from the others through its cropping, blending, captioning, or typography, etc.
Best Adaption: The icon that represents the theme the best through both the chosen image and text.
Best Caption: The icon that shows meaning to words, etc.
Best Color: The icon that stands out from the rest color-wise. It has the most effective use of color, whether it's faded, vivid, monotone, or duotone, etc.
Best Typography: The icon that shows the most creative text. Don't get it mixed up with Best Caption.
Moderator's Choice: Each week a mod chooses an icon that stands out to them :)

Your votes will not be seen by others besides the moderators. The votes will be tallied up and we will announce the winners along with the new theme. Voting will be between Friday 9:30 PM and Sunday 9:30 PM CST (Central Standard Time).
