When I was waiting for somebody in front of Lion at Shinjuku, there were many people and camera in front of Aruta, so I stayed there out of curiousity. Before 20:00 or 21:00, Aruta's screen displayed 3 2 1... and I was wondering what's going on.
Announcer was displayed and said:
"Hold up suspect is in this building now."
The screen went black and:
"... The suspect has just passed away."
The telop said this scene will be used in the movie.

Personal opinion: Fujiwara Tatsuya's act was really Fujiwara-like especially his way of speaking and mood. Light was not "Yagami Light" but "Fujiwara Tatsuya." Kashii Yuu was very beautiful. She illustrated the high pride very well.

	I still believe that L's actor is a little bit more handsome than Light's actor, but what do I know? this is turning on more and more interesting... I hope they can make justice to Death Note... (Reply to this)

	I like the casting for Light, but I can't picture L looking quite as... dangerous as the actor does in that profile pic. Still awesome though, I can't wait to see it~~ Misa's actress really looks like her from that pic, although I agree she needs to have blonde hair. 	Raye Penber was, I believe, Japanese-American. Because he could blend in better. Referencing the books... Volume 1 p. 183, he refers to himself as "Nikkei no America-jin" which is "American of Japanese descent." (Edit because wow, one-number typo makes a big difference. XD) (Reply to this) (Parent)

i'm so freaking scared of this... read that japanese only take around 50 days to make a movie... and that the shinigami are suppost to be computer graphics....
