Allow me to jump on the Merry Christmas Bandwagon and say that for the later part of the 25th till possibly the later part of the 27th I'm gonna be on semi Hiatus because I dunno how much net access I'll have let alone how much I'll use (Because Glee new Zelda for Christmas!)
So bare in mind though I'm starting some open logs today they'll probably be a little slow.

Going to be joining the others who will be on Hiatus, as I as well will be going on one. From Christmas to New Year's Eve I'm going to be in Arizona visiting my Dad and his side of the Family, so Internet access will be quite limited.

Anyway, Liz here! I'm having problems with my sewage and my plumbing at my house, so I'm at my grandma's house and until it's fixed, I think I'm staying here for the interim. So, that means I'll be taking a nice, spiffy hiatus unfortunately!
This shonentard is going to be woken up when I plan her to be woken up, but the rest of my characters aren't on data freezes. I'm just stuck without not having my LJLogin on me. Man, I miss that add on, same as my adblocker.

This honestly isn't likely to be an issue at all 'cos everyone'll be busy somehow anyway, but just in case: from tonight (the 20th) to the 26th I'm going to be at my mum's, which means I won't be on as often and maybe not much at all, although I'll still be able to log on the days before Christmas. If anything does happen, feel free to PM me at this or the relevant character journal; I'm more likely to get messages there than through AIM while I'm away.

Merry Christmas everyone!
We've got something planned for this year, sort of reaffirming and reinventing the digital world's celebration of the holiday season. This year, we'll have a celebration called The Feast of Rebirth, starting on Monday, in Meria, running to New Year's Day.
We have several events planned, including:
Tree Decoration. A contest where your characters will get to work on decorating a tree as creatively and festively as possible. Once entries are closed, winner will be determined by a poll.
The epic awesome snowball fight. Just a big, long, snowball fight that anyone can join in for stupid, snowball throwing fun!
Digital world baking festival. A festival for people to bring and sell their goods.
Holiday Ball and Dance. A dance, which is pretty self explanatory. There will be a chance for anyone who wishes to to perform, as well. Please sign up if you'd like to do so.
There will also be a general holiday commons area for people to interact. Also, we're open to suggestions for events, and if you're suggesting some kind of contest, please include suggestions about how to run it. We may not be able to run all of them, so feel free to run your own!

Ah, but the Hiatus Status just went down to Semi-hiatus. I'm leaving for Colorado next week, and that in addition to school is going to make things hectic, so I can't promise I'll be around all that much. |
