DITL July 4th, 2009 [08 Jul 2009|12:48am] jinxgoddess I've been watching the community since it was born but haven't participated in forever. My last DITL fell on the same holiday three years ago...July 4th, 2006. Breaking my DITL cherry here. Since then I've moved back home to Georgia to celebrate the 4th the way we normally do... An Amherst 4th [05 Jul 2009|07:42pm] shainamaydel My boyfriend and I headed out to Amherst for the weekend to stay in his new apartment with his roommates and some other friends that came to visit. It was wonderful! As you can see, he hasn't moved in yet. He has to live at home for the rest of the summer so he can work, boo. His roommates are working in Amherst, though, so they moved in in June. It's a really nice place! and on friday we (by which i mean my boyf, with me consulting) bought him a mattress, so the next time you see this room (and i'm sure you will) there will be a bed instead of sleeping bags! Independence Day DITL [05 Jul 2009|11:09am] madamemama Is it just me or does DITL day always seem to fall on the fourth of July? I know I've done at least one other 4th of July ditl, when we were in Japan. This year is less remarkable. A bike ride, a barbecue, a water balloon fight, and of course fireworks.
