OF COURSE. They are all comment whores and comments make them feel all warm inside. Besides that comments tell them which icons are more popular and what they should focus on more in the future.
What about credit?
Yes. Please. They can't controll it but it'd make them very happy. Aside from that more people may find their way to their community.
Is there something that's an absolute NO-NO?
HOTLINKING is an absolute prohibition. And they mean it. So always right click the picture and save it to your own computer.
Can I alter their stuff?
Actually not. They mostly save the .psd files of their artwork so just comment and tell them what's bothering you and I'm sure they will try to fix it.
