Disney Designs is a community for everyone to share or show off their Disney layouts, icons, wallpapers, buttons, or anything else you can use in your website or LJ! You can also ask for tips and suggestions, or give them yourself.

Before we begin, there are a few rules/guidelines to follow:

  • Well, obviously, you should at least have a bit of an interest for Disney. Why else would you come here? So please, when posting and sharing, it's preferred if the content has something to do...with Disney.

  • Posting of adult content will NOT be allowed...Disney's never done nudity anyway, so if you DO post nudity/sex/etc, it's probably just some mindless Disney porn (that, unfortunately, is very abundant on the web). If I find something such as that being posted, I'll delete your post and ban you from the community.
    Swear words ARE allowed.

  • I'd like to make it clear that this isn't a place to share fanart. Sure, your icon or layout can have fanart IN it, that's totally fine. But not fanart itself. There are plenty other communities to share your work, inside and outside LJ.

  • Spammers will be banned without warning. My definition of a spammer is someone who comes in, posts something either completely unrelating to the topic (if it's general Disney/animation, then that's relating to the topic, so don't worry about that), or JUST posting a link to some website that has nothing to do with Disney or anything else at all. Members ARE welcome to share their own websites, unless they join for the sole purpose of advertising.

  • If you have an incredibly large picture to post (such as a wallpaper), please put it behind an lj-cut, as those babies take an awfully long time to load if you have a slow connection...and besides, it'll probably screw up the layout of the community. XP The same thing goes for quizzes. If you don't know what an lj-cut is, see here:

  • Courtesy to other members! Don't harass, insult, or anything else of the type to anyone here. And, when someone posts something, *please* don't bash them if you don't like it. If you have suggestions, state them in a polite way.
