disney_icons. There have been too many requests posted in that community when it is only for sharing icons. So I've created this community as a place where anyone may request a Disney icon! Please read the rules before joining

1. Only Disney icons may be requested
There are countless other communities to request icons of other types. Go to
2. Requests
You may either post your request and leave it open for anyone to fill, or you may ask that a specific icon-maker fill your request. Now this does not guarantee that they will, but it's worth a try! You may request as many icons as you like and you get to decide whether you will share the icon with others or not! This community may seem dead, but it is far from it. We only keep pending icon requests in the community because it is easier to keep track of requests that way. After your icon has been made, please comment stating you have picked it up. A mod will then delete your post. Do not delete your own post. If for some reason you would like to cancel your request, please comment stating so and a mod will delete your post.
When requesting an icon, please be as specific as possible. Also, please have the image(s) you would like used uploaded somewhere. Don't make the icon maker find pictures. It would make their lives a bit easier. Other things to be specific about: font, font color, font size, specific words emphasized, size, what type of icon you would like, i.e. mini-movie, animated, blinkie, classic, etc., and any other effects you'd like.
3. Please Keep Posts on Topic
This is a community for icon requests. If you wish to display completed icons, please join our sister community
Do not post asking for icon-making help, how to do an effect, etc.
4. No Stealing Icons
Each person's request is their own. If you like the icon they receive, you may ask them to share it, but it is up to them to allow you to use it or not. Please do not take anyone's personal userpictures without their permission. It doesn't take much effort to simply ask someone if you may use it. You must give credit to the icon creator, unless otherwise specified.
If it is found that you are stealing people's icons, you will be immediately removed from the community.
5. Be LJ-cut Friendly
If you have a particularly long request, or if you have more than one picture you'd like used, please put it behind an LJ-cut. If you are going to post a picture without putting it behind a cut, please make sure it isn't bigger than roughly 400 x 400 pixels. Some of our community members use dial up and that can be a nightmare for them.

6. Always respect people's opinions and feelings.
Everyone here just wants to enjoy themselves and share beautiful work. Many people have worked very hard to make their icons and share them. They are entitled to their own thoughts, opinions, and emotions. Please respect them and their beliefs. Flame wars will not be tolerated here.
7. Resources, Bases and Journal Requests.
This is not a community to advertise your own journal or to ask for advice on resources. This isn't us trying to be unfair, we're simply trying to keep the community on-topic.
