ARE YOU READY FOR SOME... crazy loons? -_-
Tomorrow will be interesting. Why? This will be first Sunday for football fans that means something in months. That being said, I, myself, will be firmly situated in my study watching ESPN or listening the radio cast of the Tampa Bay game until work. I'm not ashamed. GO BUCCANEERS! =D
Heh, though, the halftime runs and the sunday night game pregame food getting will make work seem like waves. Fans in team apparel, rushing in and out...

New default!
Honestly, ever since that dirty fake-out with the episode on Sorcerors' World in the Legion cartoon, I could be happy with it vanishing so long as my second favorite Legionnaire (after Triplicate Girl) was shown at least once.
With three issues left, the tie-in comic FINALLY gives me an animated White Witch. So far, since the book's not out until next week, all I have is the cover. But there she is, looking strong and elegant and powerful.
I cannot wait to read this comic.

it's early
I'm not sure why, but 6:45AM seems to roll around faster than the other times I wake up at. Probably because it's earliest. Except today it wasn't much of a surprise when my alarm went off. I woke up several times last night but tbh I don't think I was really asleep until the last time I looked at the clock. Still, being able to flop around on my bed was nice. Meh. I have to be at work by 7:30AM....and I get off at 1PM.
TOO EARLY. Why did I schedule myself for these times? =/
I went shopping with Sabrina last night...both Best Buy and Target were sold out of their limited editions of season 4 of The Office. Kinda sad. So instead I bought groceries and this awesome fluffy pillow at JC Penney's that I wanted last year but then they sold out but now they have more and they're still half off. :D
I love being able to turn on my TV in the morning and watch CNN to wake me up. It's the little things, you know.

DAY OF SPECIALNESS!
I knew today wasn't going to be typical. It was raining. Raining AND a Friday.
Got in and laid the stuff down in the breakroom. (fyi, non-food stuffs are safe back there -_-)
When I did, the GOOD specialness began.
Bought new shoes, yes the shoes played a part later, then a tink doll (squee! tink <3) and a NEW new Bratz doll, named Aubrey. piccy be here! http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41nzqWXqp0L._SS500_.jpg Now, >.> start your imagery! XD
Later, between the bad, I've found out that buying the shoes did wonders for my poor tendonitis afflicted foot. I could -almost- pop up and walk after sitting at a break -- before, I got up, winced, and started out like an old maid before my feet warmed back up. Also, my feet were just tired ow, and not sore ow. YES, there IS a difference.
Now, for the bad. =/
Since it was raining, the cart mules/mechanical cart pushers reacted as expected. -_- One got to the point that it only worked in reverse -- and that's BAD, and the other did one of two things: suddenly up and quit, causing much >_< on whoever used it, OR if it did work, it went through juice like Kobayashi at the hot dog eating contest. more -_- than >_<.
The mules got the fat bastard with the face too close to the stereotypical Devil head for comfort (and he is a bastard, but most times likable, and he is big, so it fits) so upset that he said, "Fuck it. I don't care how the lot looks anymore. I'm off the next two days, it's THEIR problem." I must admit that I went =D. I quit caring ages ago.
It was Friday, so the cattle just came anyway, just had their udders bouncing or bitched about the rain and the wet carts. Cartmen/Stockmen philopshy: We got it back up for you. We don't have to do any more than that, unless it's full of trash. The rush wasn't so bad. there was a mid shifter, and the fat bastard and I ate before he left so there was always someone out.
At 10:40, when I was doing last check for the GM side, I finally reached my >_< point. We had two winners. Someone had place an electric cart, you know, the riding ones for the disabled or, too frequently, the morbidly obese (I see them every day I work, so I can tell) into a cart corral. A CORRAL! >_< Granted, it wasn't wedged in between parking spaces, like usual, but still >_< The second, some MORON had driven/put a wheelchair up on a medium's concrete rim. >_<
Special day, but in the end, not totally >_

while eating all your food before going on vacation seems like a good idea, it means that your groceries will be SERIOUS BUSINESS when you get home.

Two notes for self
- First, the good thing: only 26 days till I can sign up for NaNoWriMo this year! I really enjoyed doing it last year, even though my story was crap. Maybe this year I'll do something worth editing.
- Next, I need to remember that, sadly, the animated Legion tie-in comic is cancelled with #20. I knew it wasn't going to last much longer, what with the show ending and being nowhere near as big as Teen Titans (or as it should have been - I think the producers cutting out half the roster simply because they're female was a fatal mistake). But I'm still disappointed. Still, if this is the loss I have to take to finally have George Perez drawing every Legion ever, I can live with it.

I haven't been keeping much of an eye on the elections... but I'm pretty sure that nobody's bothered explaining what they're going to do about it...
