AboutThis is an experimental Discworld community, dedicated to high-traffic trivia tournaments, discussions, and lively discourse on the state of the Disc as we know it. If you are bothered by active communities which produce high volumes of posts, you may wish to set up your friends page filters before joining/watching.
Once you join, feel free to post any topic that you would like to get the thoughts of other Discworld enthusiasts on. No question or comment is too trivial or too obscure, we'll field them all as best we can. After all, the only thing we have to lose is our sanity, and if you're here, chances are you didn't have much of that to begin with. And what we stand to gain is an extensive knowledge and fuller understanding of the wonderful world that Terry Pratchett has created for us.
The community only has one rule: No flaming other community members. If you don't agree with what someone says, feel free to debate them in a logical, rational fashion, without resorting to childish name-calling or insults. If you feel a question someone asks has no merit whatsoever, then simply don't respond. Anyone found to be detracting from the enjoyment of other community members, or reported as being abusive, will have their status reviewed and, if the management (read: me) determines you're acting out of line, we throw you into the river. You'll probably be able to walk off before you sink anyway.
We are currently in the middle of trivia tournament, which you are free to watch as it progresses. If you would be interested in joining the next tournament, which I will be starting after a short break once this tournament is concluded, feel free to let us know.
Pardon our dust, this place will become prettier as I have more time to dedicate to setting everything up nicely. Hope you enjoy your stay, and I look forward to getting to know any newcomers, and seeing all the contestants that make the exodus over here from our original locale.
