| You arrive in an alien world. Awake on a lab table. Hear snippets of voices and catch glimpses of faces, but nothing is concrete. When you regain full consciousness, you're out on a street with nothing but the clothes on your back and a strange device with an ominous note: "Use this". As for your surroundings, everything is destroyed; crumbling buildings, deserted streets, sunless sky. It's barren. Plants are as rare as rain, and when that comes it's nothing to look forward to. On top of that, there's the monsters. Monsters of every shape and size. Some might appear familiar, some might not; some might look like things you've only read about in fairy tales. They all share a few similar traits, however. They're all dangerous, and they're all as hungry as you are. You try to fight with what powers you have, but you can't use your magic or anything else that made you stronger than an average human being. You're basically defenseless, and all you can do is hide. So now, in this strange world, you have to find food, shelter, water. Make your own decisions, find your own way. The device blips. You can contact other people with it. You find a cluster that's started figuring it out. You find a note from the ones who brought you here. A group of scientists trying to rebuild a fallen world--this world. You're a test subject now. How long will you survive? |
| [ 1 ] This is a multi-fandom RP. We accept characters from all fandoms, but as such we do not accept original characters. [ 2 ] Stay active. The activity requirement is at least once every two weeks. While commenting is good for keeping your characters active, you need a place for others to interact with them as well. We ask that your character update within three days of being accepted, too, otherwise the character will be taken off you. Also, there's the pesky fact that the scientists will electrically shock your character for not updating their journals. If you're stuck with things to post for, then you may use this idea. [ 3 ] No Godmodding. You cannot control anyone else's character's actions without their express permission. Your character is not invincible. Do not make them entirely exempt from being harmed or outsmarted, etc. Also, do not give your character OOC information. All of the characters are new to this world; they won't know anything about anyone else's world unless they're told. If we see you breaking these rules, there will be consequences. [ 4 ] Stay in-character. We understand that this situation may be drastically different from your character's canon setting and they will grow and develop as people, but please stay within their canon personalities. [ 5 ] Be respectful. Do not start drama. Do not discriminate against heterosexual or homosexual relationships, as all are welcome here. If you don't like them, simply ignore them. [ 6 ] Interact with characters from other fandoms. We're multifandom for a reason. Please try not to stay exclusively within your character's own fandom. Get out there and band together! Our AIM chatroom is discedo. Feel free to invite yourself! [ 7 ] Post in the appropriate communities. Fanworks (oh my ♥) for Discedo go in discedoworks. Your character's journal posts, however, go in their personal journals.[ 8 ] Read the FAQ.
