A special note: You may or may not have noticed that we're finding trouble in accepting threads with only one tag from one character (An AB thread, if your character is A and the other is B), in which I've left a comment. We said that we accept threads "of any length"; however, the activity check is a show of your activity for the month! You have the entire month to tag more often (with the exception of hiatuses or whatnot or other things that can happen) and we'd like to see it! You don't need enormous threads, but we are going to scratch our heads and wonder if you only have one tag to show for it. The same with only two tags in a thread from one character (an ABA thread, if your character is A and the other is B)- which we let slide tentatively this time. However, if it becomes a trend, we may not accept it in the future.

JUNE Activity Check

This check encompasses everything activity-wise from the month of JUNE. Any posts or threads done between the 1st and the end of June can be used for it! This check will run from July 1st to July 7th, and you have until then to check-in with all of your characters (unless you're on hiatus)!

-Requirements for the check are as follows:

*1 IC journal post from any time during the month.
*3 threads of any length from any time during the month in three different journals besides your character's. This includes the logs community as well as commentlogs/action posts! Anything ICly that was done in a journal other than your character's.

*Please note that we only use the HIATUS POST to determine who is on hiatus for the duration of the check. Please keep in mind that posting a hiatus note in the OOC COMMUNITY is optional, but if you do not post to the Hiatus Post and are unable to check in, you run the risk of being removed from the game. Please don't abuse the hiatus feature. If we notice a pattern with people hiatusing around the AC period every month, we will be talking to them about it.

*If you notice that someone has hiatused in the OOC community and not in the Hiatus Post, you can let us know. But, we will require you to link us to the OOC community post that they hiatused in!

*If you were unable to fill the requirements for all of your characters during the month of the check, you will have the Activity Check week to fill them. (For example, if you couldn't post for Bob in April, you can do it between May 1st-7th and still have it count!) However, if you use a post for Bob from the first week of May, you can't use it again the next month to check in with.

Now that the feedback post is over and we’ve got our hats on straight, we’ve decided to start up Mod Apps!

This here is the written application, and the first phase of the process. Fill out the questions from the text area below and post it in a comment on this page. All entries will be screened, so only we can see them. These apps will be open for two weeks, so there’s no rush. We’re willing to be somewhat flexible with this deadline due to hiatuses / real life and so on, but we hope that everyone who truly wants the position will be finished by then.

Just to keep things neat, and so we're able to tell who picks the right spot, we request that anyone who wants to look for the chip sign in below, using the following form:

So, Discedo, it's time once more for the FEEDBACK FORUM, aka the Discedo Wishlist.

What would you like to see in Discedo in the future? What things need adjustments now? What things are going well? Anything at all that you want to say about Discedo, how it's run, how it's going, the chat, the events - anything - then leave a comment here. It's constructive, so no outright bashing certain aspects of the game, please. We really want to help make Discedo a better place, and player feedback is the best way to go about this. ONE. Screened post (this one) to bring the issues up in.

TWO. Open, unscreened post where the issues are listed by the moderators, and people give their opinions on them/suggestions on how to improve them. I'm aiming to get that up a week from today, but that may change depending on the momentum and frequency of the comments on this post. There might be an additional step after this one (a step two point five, if you will) if things aren't properly settled.

THREE. Wrap up post where the mods list the solutions that have been decided on, and everyone gets cake.

This is step ONE, the listing phase. All comments are screened, IP logging off, anon on. You can comment either logged in, or anonymous if you don't feel comfortable with it. (Logged in is easier, though, in case the mods need to get more details from you). If a question about the overall mechanics of the feedback process comes up, it'll be answered and left unscreened if I feel it'll help other people better understand it as well.

Also, tomorrow will commence the first phase of what I hope will be a very productive Feedback Forum. Get your thoughts in order for what you'd like to say, and remember to bring up points that can be discussed with your fellow players on the next phase.

On a final, more serious note, we're sorry to say that two of our mods, Naru and Aly, are stepping down. We're happy to announce they'll still be around as players, but by the end of the month they will no longer be performing any mod duties. They've both given a lot to this game, so we're sad to see them go, but rest assured we are going to do our best to keep the game running. However, this means two things:

• We will be looking for new mods! Keep your eyes peeled for news about that. We're not going to rush into anything, so it may not be until the end of the month or so, but we don't plan on continuing on with just three mods, so start thinking about it. We would also suggest that prospective mods keep an eye on the Feedback Forum starting tomorrow; it's always good to know what you're getting into before you volunteer.


• Apps will be closing for a short period of time, sometime in the near future. It's not too big a deal, but while we're in the transitional phase it would probably be best that we focus on what we've already got before we get swamped. We hope to have specific dates for you in a week or two!

The following is a list of people who still haven't CHECKED IN with their characters for May's Activity Check. Please remember that if you haven't checked in by the 7th, you will be removed from the game!

Characters that do not are at risk of being removed from the game if they don't respond to the check-in by the 7th. This includes characters whose hiatuses expired before the 29th/30th of May!
