Here be the discourse between a person and his heart

(1) I call myself a poet, yet it makes me (2) laugh until I drop when I think of all the rhyme. (3) Tongue-tied, if I may say so myself; (4) I confuse myself with all these words waiting to be written (5) but I fail (6) in my futile attempt to write them all down.

(7) While I whistle a tune, I hear my voice (8) and they turn into words that I don't want to hear (9) So I write them down, instead.
