ROCKING IT SINCE 1997!

A small, general Dir en grey fan community started by two members of degny_2006, this is a place where all fans worldwide can sit back and relax among other fans. We are not about drama, nor are we about making people groan everytime they check this community. We are about creating a positive atmosphere among fellow fans, and just enjoying ourselves. What happened to that? If you're curious, or want to let everyone in on something you've been itching to say about Dir en grey, go right ahead and join. Your mods are hotarubi, and thegreycoin. What you are welcomed to do once inside this community:

※ All types of fan discussions. (Such as what does Dir en grey really mean to you?, concert reports, experiences, first times encountering the band, anything ranging from deep, to something curious as to: "Well, what's your favourite song and why?")

※ Ticket/Concert information. (All main information will be posted in degny_2006, and then reposted in the community for all members it pertains to. You'll have two chances to be updated, so nobody will be left in the dark.)

※ Works of art. (All fanart is welcomed, and enjoyed! Keep in mind only CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM is allowed! No bashing of any kind!)

※ Graphics. (All wallpapers, icons, colorbars, etc are welcomed and expected to be thrown behind a LJ-cut.)

※ Picture requests. (There is always direngrey_fotos! Check there before requesting a photo here, but if you want to throw it into both places, go right ahead! We'll do the best we can to help you in meeting your request no matter what it is.)

※ File requests. (You can request a song, PV, or rip for download--but please try and keep it to a minimum. A couple of songs or a few albums won't hurt at all, but please do not make a requesting file post every day! Have respect. If you like what you heard/saw, please try and BUY their stuff!)

※ Translations/Articles. (This speaks for itself. You are welcomed to post a translated interview (be it recent or old), recent articles, you are welcomed to post translations of songs that do not have English translations, you can request a translation from somebody that is willing to do it as well.)

※ Any auction items. (Do not sell your stuff directly in the community, you are welcomed to post a harmless link.)

※ Posting of rumors (DON'T do it, we are about fact.)

Minor rules to read and follow before joining:

1. We are about maturity. Please do not act out, and cause unneeded tension among members. There is no need a casual debate or discussion has to turn into a hissing and spitting fit--with members ending up hating each other, as well as so far gone from the original topic at hand. Any trouble will be dealt with as soon as it's brought to attention. Stick to the topic, and carry yourself like an intelligent person.

2. We are about giving credit where credit is due. Do not post anything that is not yours (translations, articles, etc) without creditting the rightful people. This includes all graphics, and fanarts as well. Keep on top of your creditting.

3. We are not about spam. Check memories and other posts before requesting/asking something. It may have already been answered! If not, your post will be added to memories for future reference.

4. We are not about exclaiming how hot every member is. No. This is not the place for it. Keeping it low-key is all right, but know your limits. This is a community dedicated to them moreso as performers, influences, and basically gods of music.
