A cute story [Jan. 24th, 2009|02:31 am]

So I was in DC for the Stank Tour, and I called my sister and asked her to look up the exact address for me on the computer. Told her to go to the website only to hear her wail and gasp in horror. "Oh no! What is this? Oh god this is disgusting, there is blood everywhere!" So I take a breath and know, yeah she found ScottSigler.net

So the future is here! Infected is out in hard cover. I have been reading every free moment of the last few days. I even was ready at work, which was backstage of a show I was performing. I also have a few pictures of me in costume reading and showing of my new true love.

Favourite Sigler Moment? [Nov. 29th, 2007|08:08 am]

My favourite Sigler moment has to be from Earthcore, Kayler Myers (sp?) using the rusty pliers to pop knuckles, I was driving when listening to this and had to pull over just to stretch my fingers!!!

What's your favourite Sigler moment?

City Of Buds [Nov. 28th, 2007|08:27 pm]

I held off listening to The Rookie as I didn't think that a story about American Football would hold my interest. With Adam Currie's "Daily Source Code" becoming less and less daily I needed something to fill the Charlie free days. Hmm, do you guys in the US call coke "Charlie" too? So anyway, I downloaded The Rookie and started listening a couple of weeks back, I'm just up to episode 20.

I had to attend a conference in central London yesterday. Though I used to work in the city I now work in outer London and rarely get in to the busy parts. The first thing that I noticed was the proliferation of people wearing headphones and ear buds. I'd guess that about 50% of all the ear buds I saw were white iPod buds. What all these people had in common, along with everyone else crammed onto our over-worked public transport system, was that they had blank, expressionless faces.

I just got onto a packed tube train as Quentin and the boys paid a visit to Mopook to request that he clears Donald Pines debt. I was smiling and wincing and really getting lost in the whole story.

Scott's energy and love for entertaining is contagious and makes even the most frustrating of journeys a joy.

A new way to promote Sigler! [Aug. 16th, 2007|12:13 am]

A friend of mine invited me to this new social network thing, it is all about books, you enter your books, your ratings and you can write reviews on them. You can influence what others read and get good ideas yourself from the site and what books your friends have read.

Well anyways, I am listing the books that I have read and was quite pleased to find siggy on there, and so I added Earthcore and Ancestor to my books and rated them. I am art[at]nuchtchas[dot]com on that site if you are interested in looking, here is the site: http://www.goodreads.com

Well, I can't wait for the last episodes of Rookie. I mean, it rocks!

Oh yeah, and way to go everyone. As Sigler said, we stood up and kicked Amazon.com in the nuts.

The Sacred Cow [Mar. 7th, 2007|12:36 pm]

nuchtchas
I finally watched the Stranger Things version of Sacred Cow, which is almost like a sequel if you as me, it works well.

I liked the direction, and the shots and cropping were amazing. It was spooky and had all the Sigler details we have come to expect.

!!!SPOILERS BELOW!!!!

Welcome to all Dirty Junkies! [Mar. 3rd, 2007|02:37 am]

We all already have profiles on LiveJournal. Still, a brief introduction of sorts would be nice. It's simple enough; Introduce yourself with:

1. Title of the first Sigler story you became familiar with.

2. What Sigler story you're currently enjoying.

3. How did you first hear of Scott Sigler?
