Hi there! :D In case you're wondering what this community's about...the name pretty much says it all. We would like to see what you doodled using digital media!! Not only doodles, but paintings and vectors are very much welcomed aswell, as long as it is drawn with 2d software: Open Canvas, Photoshop, Illustrator, Painter and such to just name a few. But this
also means that pencil scans and work done in 3D software do NOT belong in here. Inked or somehow otherwise edited pencil scans are fine, after all..lots of paintings started out at as sketches done with traditional media. Starting out from scratch digitally is hard, we know ;) Feel free to request a brush/layer/filter tutorial, ask for a collaboration in case you don't like coloring your own line-art for example, to talk about the difference or similarity between Macromedia Freehand and Adobe Illustrator and basically anything else. This is not just a gallery, posts can be text-only, Wacom tablet discussions are loved in here! *8* (The same goes for tablets by other brands, don't worry...! ;D ) Now open up your doodle software and feed us some eye-candy please!!!
A few rules to keep this a happy community~
1. Absolutely no porn, tasteful nudity is fine however.
2. Post meaningful works!! MS Paint scribbles done within 3 minutes are a waste of everyone's time and space. Make us drool at the sight of your art!
3. Be nice! n__n Comment as much as possible, we all love receiving comments. Make sure your feedback is friendly or atleast constructive. A reply such as 'Your line-art sucks!' is rude and worthless.
4. Please put large images (400px+) or more than one image behind a lj-cut. We don't want to stretch anyone's precious layout, right? Dial-up users will thank you too! =) For your convenience, here's a little reminder on how to insert a cut. We encourage posting thumbnails. They look really neat and they provide a preview of your work!
5. No ego-tripping, don't post a new entry ten times in a row, don't spam, it's annoying.
6. Advertising, for example the promotion of other communities is NOT allowed, unless you got permission from one of the mods.
7. Every single work is copyrighted by the original artist, therefore you'll need to contact him or her in case you plan on using it.
