Hello and welcome to Digimon Drabbles.
This community is, obviously, designed for drabbles, in this case defined as any story of 300 words or less. Any series of Digimon is welcome, as are any pairings, including het, yaoi, yuri, cross-breeding and Digimon with Digimon, and gen fic. The community is shiny and new, but there are still a few rules.
Please be kind to each other. Constructive criticism is a wonderful thing; blatant flaming is not. As a new community, participation is widely encouraged, be it writing your own drabbles or commenting on those other fans have created.
It would be extremely helpful if posters could use the following template (use of bold not necessary):
Title: (rather self-explanatory)
Series: (be it Adventure, Wonderswan-verse, Tamers, Frontier, D-Cyber, X-Evolution, Savers or a cross-over of any of these)
Pairings: (if applicable, you may substitute this for 'Characters' if you wish)
Rating: (plus any warnings you may feel appropriate)
Word count: (please remember not to exceed 300 words)
Topic: (only required if entering the weekly contest)
Constructive Criticism: (You don't have to add such an option to your drabbles if you don't wish to, but please bear in mind that members may leave you constructive criticism if you do not specifically ask them not to.)
Feel free to include any additional summaries and notes you choose.
We recently started holding a weekly themed contest. Each week the previous week's winner will announce a topic, and everybody can enter drabbles inspired by that topic. You may enter as many times as you like, and off-topic drabbles are still very welcome. After seven days have passed, a community-wide vote will decide a winner from all the drabbles inspired by the topic. That winner then gets to choose the next topic. For a list of previous topics, a link to each contest's entries, and the respective winners, check here.
When posting your contest entry, please remember to tag it by topic. Every week, a tag will be created for the contest topic, following the template 'topic: [previous winner's chosen topic].' This tag is used to collect entries for the poll. If your entry does not have this tag, it will not make it into the poll. The exception is if you post your entry before the tag is created. In that case, the moderator will tag it for you.
