Welcome to DiggoryFics, a fanfiction community dedicated to Cedric Diggory from the Harry Potter book and movie series. Here you'll find all sorts of Cedric-centric literature, from novel-length stories, to one-shots, to drabbles and poems, even! So sit back, relax, read, and contribute. Cedric Diggory may have died, but we can still keep him alive through pen and paper.

oo1. Cedric Diggory fanfiction ONLY, please! -- Of course, you already knew that right? There's a reason this community is called "diggoryfics". We don't want H/Hr, or R/Hr fics floating about [though we have nothing against those ships or possible others you have in mind]. So, please, Cedric Diggory-related fics, only. Note that this does not mean that Cedric Diggory has to be THE MAIN character in your fic. Just be sure he plays some sort of prominent role.

And please, make sure your summaries don't contain things like, "omg this is mai first fic plz read!" or "i suk at summarys plz read neway!" Most readers will simply skip over your fic if you beg them to read it.
oo5. Please provide a link! -- DO NOT post your fic in its entirety in your main post. Either provide a link outside of the community, or put it behind an lj-cut. Don't know how?
oo4. Review! -- Fanfiction authors are like icon-makers. We THRIVE on comments and reviews. They're partially what inspire us to continue. Constructive criticism is allowed, and for most authors, is greatly appreciated. Although, do us all a favor and do not flame the author. If you don't like a fic, tell an author why in a polite and civil manner, or just skip the fic altogether.

Every so often, a fic challenge will be issued. Each has different rules that will be posted along with the challenge. Entries will be judged and voted on, and the winner(s) will recieve a special banner as a reward and for bragging rights. :) Past challenges will be linked here.
