News on Codexed?
Hello, folks! Am I the only schmuck that can´t get on IRC and has no clue what´s going on with Codexed since Mahal and Daniel began moving the Forums? (yay, things move fast!) So, for those of us who are floating in limbo, any news? How´s the move progressing? What about the Codexed site in general? Does anyone know approximately when the Forums will be up again, and where? Sorry if I´m being a mosca cojonera, just wanted to know I miss y´all! Where I'm at.
Hi folks, My new site / online presence is going to be based out of http://stephendeken.net/. It was going to be stephendeken.com, but my registrar helpfully didn't autorenew the domain and now a squatter has it. Hooray! There's not much there right now, but that will eventually change. Anyway, thanks for all your support, your kind words (most of you anyway), and all of the memories. I know some people have written java applets to do things LJ claims to be incapable of doing - such as setting an entire journal from public to friends only - and I was wondering if anyone knew of such a utility to import DX backup files to LJ? | 11:40 am

Wow. So I just a few weeks ago switched from DX to LJ, so that I could stay in contact with all my friends. I was the only person in my group of friends who used DX, and I LOVED it. I've had a DX for about two years now. I went back to DX to snag something from a previous theme I had on there, to use on here, and found out what happened. Wow. I was only on for around two years, and it's affected me, so all of ya'll who had one for a REALLY long time, I am so sorry. I think I remember backing up my journal on there one time, about six months to a year ago, but I'll have to dig through my computer to find it. I hope that DX is reborn eventually, because some of ya'll had the most beautiful entries and layouts on the web. That's all. Oh, and I was siorai.dx if anyone was wondering. Article
I'll be doing a feature article on the effect that the DX crash has had on the members, especially the long-time writers etc, and our dependency on something that's so out of our control. If anyone is interested, please email me at JuniperWolfspirit@zerocut.com for a list of questions for quotes that I'll use in the story. The longer it is and the more complete sentences there are, the better. I hate having to fill holes xP I'm sure that won't be a problem with you guys, though...
