The purpose of this community is create a space where Goddess women can come together and share ideas. We're an easy-going group, comprised of women of all ages. Many of us are solitary, and some of us are members or leaders of covens, groves, or circles. We are a diverse group of women, located all over the world, united for our love of Goddess.

This community first started as a book study group, but our lives got in the way and we fizzled. It happens. Nobody is looking to start a book study anytime soon, but it would not be completely ruled out if some members had the time to put into it.

Discussions on any topic related to Goddess spirituality are welcome here. Some examples: Dianic traditions, ecology, art, feminism, women's studies, poetry, woman crafts, sustainable living, Witchcraft, personal Goddess practices and observations. Please keep discussions of the male principle in a Dianic context. These are simply guidelines and not hard fast rules.

1. Your membership request will have to be approved by the moderator. This is to keep trolls out. If you have a brand new LiveJournal account and you wish to join, please contact the mod first with a little information about yourself, otherwise your membership request will be denied.
   
   
2. After your membership is approved, please make a locked post to dianic_study introducing yourself. Good topics for introductions: What brought you to Goddess? What do you currently study? etc.
   
   
3. Debate and discussion is encouraged, bickering and namecalling is not. Please be civil in your discussions.
   
   
4. Put long posts and images larger than 400 x 300 under a cut. If you need help using a cut, here is an example:
   
   <lj-cut text="Title of your cut goes here"> Text of your post goes here </lj-cut> Any text outside of the post will go either above or below the lj-cut tags.
   
   
5. If you're not sure about something, just ask. We all started somewhere.
   
   
6. Lock your posts if you do not want people outside of this community reading them. As a moderator, I cannot edit posts, only tag them. By default any entries made to dianic_study are public unless you specify otherwise.
   
   
7. Any posts that violate the LiveJournal Terms of Service will be deleted. The person responsible for said post will be banned, no exceptions.
   
   
8. If comment editing is unavailable to your account please make an additional comment to revise your previous comment. Deleting comments and posts is strongly discouraged.
