Dialogue 500 is the brainchild of W.D Wilcox – a very talented writer on Writing.com. The creation of this community is to help writers who might have problems with the ‘art’ of dialogue. The ability to paint a scene without descriptions or detailed narratives is not easy to pull off. Hence, dialogue challenges the writer to create a scenario that the reader can identify with as easily as possible.
This community welcomes all fandoms, genres, pairings and ratings. Original characters are also allowed.
* Each week, a new prompt will be given. Authors are required to write up their pieces before the deadline which would be at 12.00AM UST on the selected date. However, you can still work on past/missed prompts and post them as long as they are labeled correctly.

* Subject Headers should be a little something like this: 'Entry # - 'Story Title'
* All entries should be behind an LJ-CUT please.
* There will be no claiming of characters, especially for fandoms. You are free to write for whichever pairing you want to.
* Writers can write at least TWO entries per week. However, this is only optional. The minimum is one entry per week. We are going to try to reduce the likelihood of flist flooding if the community gets busy.
* All entries will be saved in the memories for easy access. Please post entries DIRECTLY to community. No linking to your personal/writing journals. Thanks. ^^
* Comments/Responses to each entry is encouraged and recommended. Some of us are doing our best to work on our dialogue skills and any or all support will be appreciated.
* Please respect your fellow writers. There should be no flaming or biased attitudes. Different strokes for different folks, let's keep that in mind. :)
