AboutThis is a community dedicated to all types of diabetes.
Many questions previously asked can be found in our memories. If you want to know something, this may be a good starting place.
When asking questions it can help people who want to give advice if you tell us what type of diabetes you have as this can affect the appropriate answer.
There are no rules in this community other than the standard "be nice". If someone offers advice you disagree with, feel free to offer a counterpoint but please try to not make it personal. Also, it is common internet courtesy NOT to delete any posts. If you feel you spoke out of turn or got something wrong, please post a reply to that effect, do not remove the original post. It makes conversations and debates very hard to follow and/or moderate.
If you wish to advertise other communities please ask please one of the maintainers first. On the whole we don't want adverts for non diabetes related communities
Lastly, very few people here, if any, are medically trained. A lot of us have a lot of experience with living with diabetes, but it is always a good idea to discuss the ideas and solutions suggested here with your doctor before dramatically changing your treatment regime.
