Hello everyone! Welcome to

dhr_101.

This is a community dedicated to the pairing of Draco/Hermione from the book series Harry Potter. More specifically, this is for shippers who are new to D/Hr. The MODS here aren't what you would call "experts" or "oldbies" but we do love D/Hr enough to know its way around (most of it anyway). We know how it is to feel lost and alone in this huge thing called fandom and so we want those who are new to it to feel comfortable enough to ask questions. So yeah, don't be afraid. Don't be very afraid.

If you need direction to fic rec lists, fanarts, essays, and any other D/Hr related things, this is the place for you. Don't hesitate to post any question you may have in regards to the Draco/Hermione side of the big wide world that is the Harry Potter Fandom

The MODS aren't anything remotely close to being nazis, so we're not that strict. However, please be reminded of a few basic rules:

You have to be a member to comment or post in any of the threads here. We know that this may sound like a pain in the butt for some of you ~~omg the mods are so elitist~~ but believe us when we say it's for your own good. Nothing comes first but your comfort and safety. :)
Respect Others. We know that being new to a ship is hard, especially when you've been bitten by a bug so hard, you just HAVE to get some goods. But the people here are here to HELP you, so please respect everyone here. This is a fun-loving community where we try to help each other ENJOY the fandom more. Not a place to create wars, yeah?
Going hand in hand with the above, there shall be No Bashing, Flaming or all-around rudeness to the other shippers. Like we've said, we are here to have FUN, not to inflame others. If the topic is about a certain story/art/other fanwork, please learn to differentiate between constructive criticisms and a flame. Constructive criticisms help one grow; flames just create bonfires.
No spamming. Do you know what spamming is? To spam generally means to post a continuous set of posts that has NOTHING to do with the subject/theme of something. This community is for D/Hr; therefore, everything AND anything that has to do with D/Hr can be posted here. Spamming would be, say, four different posts about the beauty of the color of a banana. I'm sure it's pretty and all, but this is not the community to post that to.
Lastly, please Use an LJ-Cut. This isn't a rule per se; more of an option to the original poster. If your post spans more than 500 words, please be kind to those who have watched/friended the community by doing them the favor of saving their friends' list. A little something in the subject would help a lot of people from determining what it is you might ask, yeah?
