I'm upgrading the webserver for the DHOS stuff.

IF YOU ARE USING A DHOS FTP ACCOUNT:
1. Try to log into your ftp account now and tell me if you can get in.
2. Don't upload anything important until Wednesday, just to be safe. You can download.
3. Log into your ftp account after Wednesday and tell me if it's working.

The new server doesn't seem to allow file browsing. If someone knows how I can change that, let me know. Otherwise, if you need a file browser, make an index.html file with links.

The DHOS general meeting will take place on Sunday, January 20, from 1pm to 5pm at Gamelot (http://www.mygamelot.com/), 7007 Bandera Road, San Antonio, Texas 78238. It's in the same shopping center as Church's Chicken, where Bandera and Huebner cross. It's the northeastern corner of the intersection (NOT where Hobby Lobby, Diamond Shamrock, or Peter Piper's Pizza are -- those are the other corners). There's also a generic gas station (might be Conoco or Texaco or something) and a laundromat in that corner.

I'll have the good cheer part covered. It's been a good year, and next year looks to be even better.

Plus we're already having a party on Saturday the 22nd at Ken's, so why bother having a meeting as well.

Fred has informed me that R&D Games had a break-in, so they are now consolidating with Game Lot (Bandera x Huebner), and we will be meeting there instead. Apparently my 'hood is safer than Callaghan.

Okay, we will have our annual DHOS Christmas party on Saturday, December 22, at Ken's house. Time to be determined by him. Usually he does stuff from 2pm-10pm or midnight or what have you.

I decree we do something on the 22nd (Saturday), since this seems better for Jose, and I don't care as long as it isn't around the 15th. At least... I don't think anything else is on the 22nd... O.o;

Is anyone up for having a DHOS Christmas party this year? I ask for now is the time of planning such things. I wouldn't mind someone doing something that's actually close to Christmas itself since everyone else wants to have the whole season over and done with well before the middle of December these days, so the actual holiday is boring.
