About

D.Gray-man - originally a "gothic" manga/anime that takes place at the end of "an alternate 19th century." It tells the story of a young boy named Allen Walker, and his friends, the other Exorcists and those who support them.

All Exorcists are members of the Black Order, a secret religious organization dedicated to stopping the Millennium Earl. The Earl is a crazed ancient who desires to "cleanse the earth" by destroying all of mankind - with the assistance of Akuma, demons formed from a mix of machine, a despairing soul, and the corpse of the mourned. At his side at the descendants of the biblical Noah, supernatural humans with the ability to switch between "white" and "black" forms.

D.Gray-man currently runs in Weekly Shonen Jump, and began in 2004. Additionally, it has an ongoing anime that aired in 2006, as well as a series of novels titled Reverse and a game for the Nintendo DS called Kami no Shitotachi.

If you're new to LiveJournal and/or D.Gray-man, you may be wondering why this community exists. In short, it is a place dedicated to the discussion of all things DGM, be it the anime, manga, video games, novels; as a place to share (and keep organized) all the various fanworks (such as art, fics, icons etc.); and really, is a pretty general community that anyone can join and post to.

† Naturally, all posts must be related to D.Gray-man in some way or another. If you post something completely off-topic, it's probably going to be removed without notice.
On RPGs: advertisements for RPGs are allowed, provided D.Gray-man is part of the fandoms within the game - I don't know why you'd advertise here if it wasn't. For rules on banners, see the rule on images.
† Use an LJ-cut where it is needed! Spoilers, images (see image rule for specifics), huge advertisements, fics, fanart, especially if they are adult, etc. must all be cut. Images that go beyond 300x400 must be cut as well, whether it is an RPG banner or a fanart preview. Anything smaller is acceptable, however. Regarding icons, the maximum number you are able to post as a preview is three.
† All content must be appropriately marked - ESPECIALLY if it unsuitable for minors to view, such as graphic fanart or fanfiction. If your post is unmarked, it may be deleted.
† Please tag your posts. You do not have the ability to create your own, however there is quite a big list of them to choose from. If there is a tag that you think you need but isn't present, feel free to contact a mod and ask them about adding one.
† Please LOCK your shared media. This includes episodes, chapters, volumes, and doujinshi.
† Please don't post introductory posts unless you have something of substance to say that isn't just "hi! I'm new!" Offer a fic, icons, pictures, etc., anything is fine as long as long as it contributes to the community as the other posts do.
† No drama, flames, etc. This is not the place to take out a personal grudge or argue how your favorite pairing is canon - if you do, you will be reprimanded accordingly depending on the severity of the offense, which can be anywhere from a moderator warning or a flat out ban. If you ever feel that you are being harassed or spot a possible offense, feel free to direct a moderator to the post or comments and it will be dealt with accordingly.
