| About: | Let's face it: when you get right down to it, right down to the kernel of the story, Kingdom Hearts is about three kids with a dream and the S---storm that hits because of it. It's about Sora, a rather childish guy with a big key and two goofy friends (well, one Goofy and one Donald); it's about Riku, a more ambitious and, to be honest, intelligent lad who wants to save his friends above all else, even if it means selling his soul; and it's about Kairi, the glue who holds them all together, and keeps the story from ending 1/3 way through. It's about them; not Cloud, not Leon, not Ansem, not any of your other angsty heartthrob bishies. It's not even about Disney. It's about the Trio, and their Destiny. This community is a tribute to that: to Sora, to Riku, to Kairi, and to all the combinations of the three, most importantly the three together in one big happy pile of friendship. These three friends have gone to the ends of the earth for eachother, the End of the Universe even, and done it all just to get back together. That's love, platonic, familial, or otherwise, and there is no denying it. Welcome to Destiny_Trio. *** Rules 1. Don't be a dick. Seriously. Just be nice, don't spam, don't flame, use proper english, and we'll all get along fine. If you are an annoying prat, however, I will not hesitate to shut you down. 2. Anything R or above fic wise goes behind a cut. All fanart goes behind a cut. More than 5 icons? Cut please. 3. NO BASHING. You don't like Kairi/Riku/Sora? Too bad. I don't care if s/he's ruining your slashy/het-y little wonderfulness, she is an integral part of the group. You can post Riku x Sora, Riku x Kairi, or Sora x Kairi here. That's fine. It doesn't all have to be threesome-y. But remember that all members of the trio are loved equally. On the same token, I will not have ANY kind of derogatory remarks directed towards ANYONE, in the fandom or not. Not homophobia, heterophobia, racism, sexism...any of it. Themes about all walks of life are embraced, and if you aren't ready to step into this community with at least the ability to not insult others for their beliefs, you'd best step back and reconsider. 4. Comms adverts? Keep it related to the trio. I don't care about your Axel/Roxas comm. Sorry, but I don't. General KH? That's cool. Need a Riku for your RP? That's cool, too. Pimping your Maleficent/Pete/Ansem trio fansite? No. Just no. That's about it, for now. I don't like putting down a lot of rules, so just be sane and Don't Be a Dick, and I won't have to go Dictator on your bums. I don't like being strict, but I will if I have to. That's about it.
