This community is lightly monitored by misshawklet, but I expect community members to monitor themselves.

*DeStash Craft is not meant to promote your business. Do not use this community as a marketing tool. If you use the community to promote your business, you will be blocked. Promoting your business includes links to sales, ebay items, etsy sites and the like. If you are selling items that you list here in another place, that is fine, but please do not post a link to the items. I want to make sure this community has just that...a COMMUNITY feel.
*The purpose of Destash Craft is to share art supplies at a minimal or very reduced cost. Many crafters have loads of art supplies that they never use, so share the wealth! You know those boxes of beads that have been in your closet for 8 years? Or that pile of fabric collecting dust? Hell, what about your sewing machine, for that matter? Out with the old! Give it away or sell it super cheap to someone who will put it to good use.
*Please do not list items that you want to make a lot of money off of. The purpose of the community is to get rid of things and make a buck or two, but not to use it as a selling business. It is fine to sell large equipment but please do not be unreasonable.
*This is not a locked community so do not post your personal information in the comments, besides your email address. When a seller and buyer you contacted each other, it is a good idea to delete your comment so your email address is no longer available.
*The community is not responsible for any transactions. All are at your own risk, but please, be honest about your listing, be sure to get payment before you sell, ship items promptly and don't be an asshole. The indie world is small and word gets around when you have done somenoe wrong!
*Each listing should include:
photograph of the item (not necessary but highly recommended)
price (or what you will trade for...trading is encouraged!)
where you will ship to
shipping prices
full description of the items
your email address
*If you have several items to list in one day, please do it in one post just so we do not clog people's friends lists with tons of posts. On the other hand, feel free to post as much as you need to, whether it be daily, weekly, etc!
*When you sell an item, type SOLD in bold letters in the subject line and top of the post. Do not erase the post b/c I think its nice for others to see what people have sold so they get an idea of how the community works.
*Make sure to leave feedback! There are positive and negative feedback entries in the memories of this journal. Please add to them. They are on view to friends only.
*Above all, have fun and Happy Crafting!
