Racist Radio Station? Power 99 FM, Philadelphia
Hello everyone...

This is an email I received from a few friends back home in Philly. This is a pretty serious issue. I would love for these DJs/the station to get in trouble for this. If you feel like this is worth acting upon, please contact the radio station and give them a piece of your mind. Thanks.

Power 99 has a new morning team that thinks it's cutting
edge and crazy by calling up indian technical
support people and indian operators and cursing
at them and making fun of them. .... This kind of ignorant behavior
needs to stop. We need to stop letting people say
and do ignorant and racist things to us as Indians
and Asians. Too many times, we've kept quiet and
ignored it. It's time to step up and let our voices
be heard. Send this out to your friends if you care
to. and call Power 99's main number, letting
them know what you think of their new racist

EDIT: I was advised to take out the part in the original email about the hosts allegedly telling people not to send aid to the victims of the Tsunami. As of now, there is no tangible proof/recording of them saying that, and it will appear as hearsay if this post gets picked up by other mediums, which I'm sure it will, because people are spreading this like wildfire. Please continue to contact the station and other media organizations regarding this issue.
