The Contest:
[x] Every Sunday I will put up a challenge, providing a screencap or a pic from a photoshoot or something like that.
[x] You may use brushes, textures, gradients, etc.
Entering the Contest:
[x] Post the icons in a comment to the challenge post, in both IMG SRC form and URL form. Make sure to host them on a server that allows hotlinking! I recommend Photobucket. If your icon doesn't show up, it won't be featured in the contest.
Your entry comment should be like this
[x] Comments will be screened.
Voting & Results:
[x] The amount of icons you may vote for in each challenge will depend on how many entries we received that week. They will range from 1-3 for each challenge.
[x] Only community members are allowed to vote, but you don't have to be an icon maker to join the community! Feel free to join just to take part in the voting.
[x] Do not vote for yourself.
[x] Every week, one icon from each challenge will receive a Mod's Choice award.
[x] The winners will receive banners.
[x] Icons must fit the Live Journal standards: No bigger than 100x100 px and 40 KB, in either JPG, GIF or PNG format.
[x] The contest will be anonymous, so please do not post your icons elsewhere, including your own journal. Also, do not include your username in the icon filename.
[x] You may only enter original icons. Meaning do not use other people bases!
[x] No animation.
[x] No text... DUH!
[x] Tiny text is allowed, because it's only decorative, it doesn't say anything, does it?
[x] If all the rules stated above are not followed, the icon will be disqualified.
[x] Challenges go up: Sunday.
[x] Deadline: Friday.
[x] Voting: Friday-Saturday.
[x] Results posted: Sunday night.
